Hi guys... so throughout the years, I’ve had surgery to fix skin issues as a result of weight loss. I lost the weight naturally, no surgery, but have been was left with saggy skin on my tummy, arms, thighs and breasts.
Over the last 10 years or so, I’ve received a mini tummy tuck (no lipo or ab stitching), Breast lift, and breast augmentation. I am now finishing my journey and heading towards and arm and thigh lift. I CANNOT WAIT!!
After much debate and back-and-forth, i have decided on Dr. Mejia in DR. I have spoken with some of his previous patients who under went the same surgeries and have heard nothing but good things!
I will pay my deposit for an April surgery in just a few weeks. During this time i need to lose 10-15 pounds and get on a good hemoglobin-boosting routine.
Please follow along my journey :)

Need to lose weight
KAT1228November 26, 2017
In order for me to get the surgery i need to lose 15 pounds, but my goal is 20!
I start a boot camp class on Monday where i will be waking up at 5AM (!!!!) to work out, and they give you a nutritional plan to follow. On top of that i am really going to monitor my sugar intake. It’ll be hard during the holidays but I’m focused!
I also started my vitamin regimen to boost hemoglobin but does anyone have anything else they can recommend?? Any juices or shakes?

I’ve experienced the most weight loss on a ketogenic meal plan. Exercise enhances your results as long as you’re not eating the calorie deficit.

My surgery is official! I will fly down on 4/23 and have surgery on 4/24. I am staying at Sea Lilly RH.
I’m so nervous for recovery!! I read every thigh lift review i can find and it does not look pretty. I’ll make sure my recovery is well documented because other people’s stories have helps me so much, i definitely want to be a help to others.

I am 9 days post on thigh lift. It’s not as horrible as i though. The bathroom is the worse part. Sitting on toilet. Lifted seat wasn’t for me. Go girl was the way to go. Not perfect but good. It’s no cake walk but doable for sure. I used a walker a bit. Not much. I get around good now. Still sucks to sit on toilet. It looks scary. But i expected that. It always looks terrifying then it all comes together suddenly. Best of luck to you. I’ll answer any questions you may have. I had arms too. I’m 2 yrs post on that.

Thanks for your comment! The toilet is def the scariest part because i won’t have use of my arms either. I will get one of those ez pee things and just hope by the time i need to sit down that my incisions will be fully closed! I really will talk to the doctor about only getting the groun incision vs the groin + vertical incision. I’ve heard horror stories about women who had both - incisions staying open for months. What kind of incision did you get?
February 19, 2018
My incision come just outside my groin which i hadn’t even thought it was going to be there. This is my fifth (and last) surgery and i trust my ps totally. I don’t question much. I’m relieved it’s there. They do go to just above the knee. It will fade. Everything is closed and thin. I’m very relieved. I can’t imagine arms and thighs. But guess what, you will figure it out. You will find a way. My arms were the worse. I had a compressed nerve in elbow that took awhile to work itself out. That was they worst part though. Both my pits opened. Took a month to close. It wasn’t painful, just bothersome. All and all the thighs are much better than i could have hoped. This is the one that scared me the most. I was off pain pills day 3. Back to work at 1 1/2 weeks. Seriously any questions you have let me know.

I have a question . I want to get an arm tuck but I’m a hairstylist and my arms are constantly moving... washing hair blow drying highlighting etc. how long do you think it will take in order for me to do these things ? thanks for any info

I went back to work after a week off & was fine. Blowdrying was.a bit challenging, but it was doable.
