So the new faja irritated my the openings i had developed and reopened them :( so even though i should be wearing my faja 24/7 for three more weeks, they said i can take it off to allow the openings to heal. In the days if been out of be faja I’ve swelled up so much and feel like i look bloated and puffy :(
Faja update
I can’t even believe it’s true, but I’m down another size in my faja. From not wanting to wear a faja period to being about that faja life... what a difference a few weeks makes! I have a little over 3 more weeks wearing the faja 24/7 and with the weather getting hot i really wanted a pair of shorts. Ladies, if ordering from amazon please take note of the style. Not all fajas are “stage 2” and a stage 2 faja doesn’t refer to a smaller faja. Stage 2 fajas are very stiff with incredible compression. Nothing like the faja you wear from the surgeon. I’ve only worn MariaE fajas this surgery - stage 1 from my surgeon, stage 2 purchased through my massage studio, and the third one i bought on amazon. This is MariaE 9334... great for women with thicker thighs. So far very happy with it! I’m wearing this with a butterfly ab board (for protection) and my back board. Let’s see if i can make it to another size down! Lol
2Months
Just about 2 months now. My opening in my leg incision is closing well and I’m on the last hook of my stage 2 faja (XL). May move down to a L, my friend has one i will try this weekend. This one is still crazy tight but if the L fits, I’ll go down. I will need an ab board - i didn’t get any procedure to my stomach but the board will protect against he faja. In a few days I’ll be able to stop wearing my arm compressions and i am sooooo excited! Here are some progress pics.

I could not speak more highly of Doctor Mejia, as well as his staff. I felt comfortable, confident that i was in good hands the entire time. He is a busy man so i didn’t spend much time with him in the days after surgery, in the time i did spend with him, i did not feel rushed - he answered and explained everything. You are in good hands with Dr Mejia!!
