WORTH IT$9,000
I had my Fleur De Lis Tummy Tuck done May 2, 2014. I had a ton of extra sking from having twins and being over weight. I have noticed as time goes on my lower pubis area seems to be getting more laxed and seems fat and puffy. I know there is the swelling for many months, but it seems like this is just soft hanging tissue and I think I may need a revision. My PS is 5 hours away, so I am trying to get a few opinions so I can talk with my PS in July when I go down for another check up with him.
I am thinking that I do not have much elasticity in my skin due to all the stretch marks and it is not able to reabsorb.
Please tell me what you think from the photos that I will post with this. Thank you.

while it is so much better...I see why you may need a revision.. :) But doesn't swelling happen for several months depending on the individual?

Yes, I believe it swells for up to 6 months or more. So I am not really sure if in the end it will need it or not. :) I agree it is a huge improvement from before.

Ufff... Looks a bit "better", maybe. I am not going to sugar coated it to you, but you could have done a much better lipo+TT in some place else, maybe abroad, like Colombia, Brazil, Dominican Republic. Sorry, if I'm being real honest with you. Not my intention to down grade your doctor and hurt your feelings. Your doctor could've done much better if he would've performed a liposuction (you don't mention if you had it), cut more skin (definitely MORE skin) and do a way much better line. Why am I telling you this? Because I went through the same thing. Eight years ago I had performed a lipo and while the doctor was supposed to do a TT, he didn't. He suggested me to go again, later, if I wasn't happy. I was NEVER happy, and I wasn't going to give him another $10,000.00. Last year I visited Dominican Republic - as per friends suggestions and I saw ladies who had done themselves there - and I had a all over body liposuction and TT for $4,500.00 plus trip expenses and recovering house. Final price? $9,000.00. Am I happy? ABSOLUTELY ! Search the names, Dr. Walkiris Robles, Yili de Los Santos, Hernando Florez Ospino. And you will see why is my honest opinion. My advise to you is to go back to your doctor, have yourself revised by him and ask questions. Good luck and God bless...

I was thinking swelling, but I see it's been a month. Have you noticed a difference or it it the same?

It has been the same for about a week after surgery. After surgery it was pretty flat for the first week and then it really swelled.

Most sure you got fibrosis, some times happen for various reason. One of the reasons is for not doing the post operative massage for the drainage. It's called linphatic massages Didn't your doctor recommend massages sessions? Almost positive that he will drain the stored liquid with a siringe. That liquid is from the melt down solution the doctor put in you to melt down the fat to be suctioned. The drainage is usually not enough to remove that, thus you need those special massages, very tight compression girdle and drink lots of diuretic to remove all that via your urine.

I had my TT (and breast lift) May 9th. my mons area is also very sore and swollen. I had posted some photos on my profile too. My next po visit is the end of June and I will try to be patient and see what Dr. will say at that time.

So far everything is about the same, still very swollen and puffy. The scar looks good, and my belly button is amazing, Cound not have asked for a better belly button. :)
The "Ken Doll" effect is still horrible and wearing jeans looks pretty bad with a bulge. I am praying that it absorbs, there is hope after reading everyones comments about it taking more than 6 months to settle down. It is quite early in the healing process.
