I am done Rev 2.0

Well, a lot happened. I lost my bottom tray for the last refinement so I settled for going back to the one before. The trays did not quite correct to the way the teeth were before switching to the retainers, but the doctor put little "dimples" on the trays to add a little extra correction. In all, the bottom teeth have a tiny extra separation and the top left incisive is a hair less straight than it used to be. But the overall look is good so I am satisfied. I am now wearing fixed retainers on both top and bottom, plus plastic retainers at night. Things did not go a smoothly as I had hoped for but the final results are satisfactory.

still on trays #14 (overcorrection)

A quick update. Going back to the invisalign trays helped, but they did not bring my teeth exactly to where they were. After one week with the last set of trays they punched them in a few spots to increase the correction and now I have to wear them for about 3 weeks. The trick seems to have worked pretty well, and I think they are looking pretty good. Next step will be wire retainer both on the top and bottom. The top will hopefully last one year, after which I will be only with the night plastic one without setbacks...

Tray 14 of overcorrection and NOT done

I asked to be seen one week earlier than planned because I felt that, while the teeth moved back quite a bit, they are not quite where they should be. The doctor made me switch to my last trays (#14) and asked to see me in one week. I can already tell that the teeth are still slightly rotated :( I am not sure what the plan will be at this point. My appointment is on July 2nd. I hope it won't be braces... I was hoping to be done before my vacation to see my family at the end of July. Now it seems very unlikely :(
