Oops forgot a pic

- this one is the post op bra my doc recommended - it's a Bali bra - really soft and comfy! I have 7 of them in different colors lol.

2 weeks PO! Almost....

I can't believe it's almost been 2 weeks!

I had my first post op around 5 days ago, and the doc said everything was looking good. They're really high, so I have to wear the dreaded strap at night, and push my implants down by hand twice a day (alternating 30 seconds on each side twice). I think it's working and my boobs are looking less frankenboobish :). My next post op is in 4 days, and I'll get the bandage thing off. I got some silicone scar strips to put on my scars, but I'll ask the doc if they're ok to use right after. I also imagine he'll show me massage techniques as they're finally starting to get a little softer.

Pain wise, I stopped taking x-strength Tylenol 3-4 days ago. Right now it only feels tight, and once in awhile my incisions might hurt a bit - but it's tolerable. My arm mobility is almost fully back, however driving is very strange - I drove about 9 days post op to work. My first day back in office (I worked from home on day 7 and 8) was a little rough, so I worked from home on the 10th day. I went in on the 11th day, and I seemed to fine :). I just have an office job, however the commute was rough.

Overall, I'm ecstatic with my results, and love seeing how much they're changing! Progress pics attached :)

A little more coherent now....

Well...I'm very happy that the days are going by so quickly. I feel so much better today :)

I'll give a little more detail on how the surgery went...

I arrived at 6:45 on Monday, and was told that that surgery would start around 7-7:15 - which really shocked me! I thought I would have to wait a few hours. But it seems I was the first one for the day and I could get started right away.

The nurse led me to a small room, and asked me some questions, took my blood pressure/etc. After that the anesthesiologist came in and described what he was doing. He was a really nice guy :). Soon after that my surgeon came in and drew all over my little boobs! He told me I was getting 425cc moderate plus profile. I was really excited as this is pretty much what I wanted :D

I was then led into the surgery room, and had to get on a really narrow table. I had small talk with the surgery team, and the surgeon wished me a late happy birthday. The relaxant type thing they put in the IV also started working, and I felt amazing!! I mentioned that I was feeling the "good stuff" now, hahahah. The last thing I remember is having that little mask go over my face....

I don't really remember much about waking up, but I was apparently ready to go at 8:10 - very quick! My boyfriend told me I didn't want to take my pain medication as I told the nurse that I was "no druggie" lol. The next thing I remember is just lying in bed at the hotel room. I felt pretty good the first day, but wasn't very happy I had that evil strap on! I also threw up once after surgery, but was fine after that.

The next day we checked out, and headed home. Fortunately, it was just a 40 minute drive. I felt ok that day, and my boyfriend made sure I was taking my meds when I should be. The second day however, was hell. I was in excruciating pain for a bit, and I even had regrets about my surgery. I believe most of the pain was coming from the strap I was wearing, and I should have loosened it up, but I kept it as is until I had to take it off. Once it was taken off, I felt immediate relief. Everyday I'm getting better :) I also got off my pain meds starting day 3 and moved to extra strength tylenol. Pain is very little now, I just feel pressure, and some tightness.

There were a few things that I was a surprised about however. One being my arms, they were so sore and swollen! It was only until last night that I tried moving them around more. Also, the water weight is real people. I've been looking like a beached whale! Today it's going down....but really? Not attractive.

I attached a couple pics I took yesterday. They look similar today, but not as tight - thankfully! Can't wait for them to D+F!!!
