After getting a LapBand in 11/2011, losing 100 pounds, a TT w/MR & BR/BL in 12/2013 and thigh lift and BA in 03/2014, I thought I was DONE with my transformation. (You can go to my profile to read about the other steps of my journey) Well, after 3 years of hard work in the gym, my butt just won't go away! I have a roll on my upper butt/lower back similar to what I had on my tummy prior to my TT. My runs into the back of my thighs and 1000s of squats still haven't gotten rid of all the extra skin and lumps. My doc says my skin has great elasticity for stretching, but not so much for shrinking back. Prior to my TT I had to buy pants 2 sizes too big to fit the roll of extra skin I had & now I'm having to buy a bigger size bcuz of the roll on my backside! UGH!
After all those years of eating my way to 250 pounds I destroyed my body and NO amount of hard work in the gym can make my skin shrink back to fit my new healthy lifestyle.
I have decided to get a posterior lower body lift and remove the extra skin. My doc, Dr. Zarrabi is a true artist and I cannot wait to see his transformation results this time!
15 DAYS AND COUNTING...canNOT come soon enough!

This week is going by SO slow! I just want it to be Friday already! Even as busy as I am at work...this surgery is all I am thinking about. I am obsessed with RS & all the updates of everyone who has recently has body lifts. I have watched the few body lift videos I can find on youtube. I think I am prepared as I am going to be. There doesn't seem to be many people who have these surgeries in stages like me. I'm hoping having only the posterior lift done now, I won't be in much pain & will recover quickly.
C'mon Friday...hurry up!

My day started at 3:15am so I could shower and wash with the Hibiclens, we left the house around 4, and arrived at surgery center at 5:45. Dr. Zarrabi's wonderful nurse got me started; we finished the paperwork & I got changed. Dr. Zarrabi showed up and marked me all up... He drew and measured, he drew more and measured more, he always takes so much time paying close attention to detail. I get into the OR & wonderful Dr. Mendelson got me I.V.'d up, they turned on country music for me & nitey-nite I went... What more could I ask for?
When I woke up in recovery I was surprisingly not in a lot of pain, just super groggy and tired, I just wanted to keep sleeping. After making sure my pain was under control, they sent me on my way to my long drive home… Took about 4 hours in awful traffic. We got home I got comfy on the recliner couch and my hubby fixed me some soup. I have a very large compression garment, longer than I thought it would be… Goes from my ribs to my ankles. I tended to my drains and took a nap, still no bad pain. My fantastic Dr. Zarrabi called to check on me last night & made sure I understood all my instructions. I slept comfortably on the couch waking up only to take my pain meds which I've been taking about every 5 hours. My pain is tolerable, much better than the tummy tuck was; maybe it's just the pain meds working. I am going to try to take less at my next dose. The sooner I can wean off the better!!
My butt already looks better, but my stomach looks swollen for some reason. There is a lot of gauze on my Tummy protecting where the drains are coming out, so I'm assuming that's what it's from. I can't wait to get a peek of the results of Dr. Zarrabi's magic this time!!!
