Three Months Post Op and Don't Regret A Thing!!!!
WORTH IT
So I'm three months post-op and LOVE both my new breasts and am enjoying my life so much more! I can't say enough how worth it the surgery was! My posture, reach, flexibility and physical activities have all improved and become so much more enjoyable. Running comfortably! I can run faster and longer because I'm not spending so much energy slinging around those huge boobs!
The only annoying part has been the pain I'm still having. It's not constant, but boy is it intense when it comes! But the pain signifies nerve regeneration, and all my numb spots are slowly getting feeling back. So, it's good pain.

Almost six weeks post op!
Well, it's been almost six weeks since my procedure and I couldn't be happier! I LOVE my results!!! The deep grooves in my shoulders are beginning to go away and in the next week or so my doc said I can begin running again. Everyone says I look great and honestly, I can't stop looking at them. Mentally it's been an adjustment. Not bad, but an adjustment. I can move on to more structured bras now but still no underwire.
Doc says the earliest we can begin to plan a revision is 6 mos to 1 yr out. I knew that was going to be a high probably but now is a definite as the R-breast has significant pooching/dog ear. Was to be expected though!
I realized real quick that I should have taken a minimum of 3 wks off as 2.5 weeks was not enough! I was so wiped out and I have a sedentary job! I still don't like the seat belt cross strap because I have some residual tenderness, and still prefer to sleep in a sports bra as the shifting weight when I get up is painful at times. The shooting pains are more intense but less frequent, and I'm getting feeling back slowly on the L-side with the R-side being hyper-sensitive. And they have a mind of their own it seems when they get cold!

Really great results - congrats!
Thank you! I tried to post an updated pic but it wouldn't let me. My scars are barely noticeable. So happy with my doc!
Please try again soon. We're not the same timeline. I had my sx on 7/22. Mommy makeover with extended TT and breast reduction with lift. I am def in the middle of my healing. Last night my body caught a major itching spell. I applied coconut oil to try to keep from mauling myself. Have a great hump day!
Oh man, sometimes the itching comes out of nowhere and is intense! I'm about to start yet another nipple peeling phase. I've been massaging my scars and nipples with this stuff called CJ'sbuTTer. A friend used it on her baby and it smells great. I've used it on everything from exima patches, peeling boobs, rough feet. All natural and helped keep the itching under control.
that's awesome. will check out. I'm about to rip my skin off these days. hope you have a great weekend.
Look great!! Glad you are happy! I have my surgery on Saturday- scary! :D x
You will do great, I was undetandably nervous as well but sailed through it. Last thung I remember was sitting in pre-op getting meds when something hit me and I said "woah". Next thing I knew I was being asked by my nurse how my pain was. Was some burning initially but nothing too intense. Don't be afraid to let them medicate you, you'll be thankful! Drink lots of water afterwards and take a stool softener every day because the meds will do a number on your poop schedule.
