Hi everyone! I'm new to this site and just love the wealth of info I've recieved. I'm in Northern California and I'm getting my Breast augmentation on July 21st! I'm super excited/nervous. I was born w tetralogy of fallot (heart condition) and with clearence from my cardiologist I'm ready to get the procedure! I did my pre op 2 weeks ago. I live in the woods so I'm actually driving 4 hours for my appt. I have my boyfriend coming w me to help (he wasn't too keen on the idea of me getting implants). I'm starting w a 32 C (they're deflated tho) and hoping to get a full D+. Any other ladies start w a C cup? My plastic surgeon recommended a lift but since I have a heart condition I would like to spend as least time under as possible. So I'm going to do 400CC with no lift :)

I just had this done! 32C cup, breast fed one child, 400cc silicone. I did get a mini lift and I am very happy with the results! I think even without the lift you will be happy. Good luck!

Awesome! Thank you for replying. Were you nervous for the actual surgery? I know I'm going to be ok it's just nerve wrecking!!
July 20, 2015
I was a little nervous, but when it came down to it not as much as I thought I would. My dr. gave me vallium to take the night before if needed. (I didn't). I was told to take some in the morning which was helpful. My surgery was scheduled for 7:30am and I had to be at the hospital by 6:30, so it was nice that there wasn't much time to stress.

I had the procedure done July 7th, 2015 and am 9 days post op

How do you feel?? I have family visiting 9 days pre op and I'm hoping I feel well enough to participate in all the fun lol

I think, 9 days post op you will be feeling well enough to enjoy yourself for sure. I was told to take arnica to help with bruising. I took the pills 3x's a day until I ran out and never bruised. I would definitely recommend taking a stool softener starting the night you have surgery. I took some the day after and it wasn't enough. 3 days later I was very constipated and very uncomfortable. I think this definitely could have been avoided! After surgery, my skin was pulled very tight and uncomfortable and the next day I heard gurgling sounds near my armpit. It freaked me out a bit, but is very normal and went away after three days. I used the pain killers for a couple of days after, and in general wasn't my self. ( Slept a lot, a little emotional from the meds, and anesthesia, skin felt tight, breast swollen, a little discomfort at incision site). But was nothing compared to when I had an emergency c-section. I had the surgery on a Tuesday, by Sunday I was feeling much better and more of myself. I had the implants submuscular. My understanding is that healing is even easier if they are on top of the muscle. Also, most of my incision discomfort is from the lift and the incision site on the nipples. I hope this helps.

Hoping 400cc is big enough...

I know I'm already starting with a C cup but im hoping 400cc is enough to fill my deflated area. I guess I'm getting boob greedy lol I can't believe I'll have my new boobs in 4 days!! Let the countdown begin...

Are your implants being placed above or below the muscle? I think this may make a difference. Also, are your sure your dr. will stick to 400cc or will he or she bring several sizes to "try" and see how they fit/ how your body reacts before they are placed? Your pic is very similar to how my breasts looked before my implants. I had mine submuscular with a mini lift and I am happy. When I went in for my consult, a woman had come in for a 3 week follow up appointment and because we had very similar sizing, she was willing for me to meet her and show me her implants. I believe she had 380cc over the muscle without a lift and her breasts were firm and full and not deflated at all. She was thrilled and said her recovery had been great. Of course, I don't know what your ultimate goal is.... When I went in for surgery, my dr said I was borderline about needing a lift and he would see how my body responded. My feeling was it would be a positive improvement no matter what! Good luck and I hope you are happy with the result!

Under the muscle (I may want to breastfeed if I have another baby) and yes 400 will easily fit bc I have a lot of room in there lol I unfortuanely have deflated boobs. Wow that makes me feel a lot better. I'm not doing a lift so of course I don't want sagging! I really just want to fill the space. When I bend over my boobs cone. I had DD's all through high school. It's hard to have something and then have it taken away. I wouldn't give my daughter or breastfeeding up for the world but it def did a number on my body. I'm borderline lift, too! I feel the same. No mater what it's an improvement. Thank you so much for replying. I leave for the city tomorrow and then get my implants on Tuesday at 7:30am!

How are you? Are you happy with the results?
July 23, 2015
I'm great! We went with 435CC silicone. I didn't sleep so good last night but it was only my first night post op. Hoping tonight is better. They're huge! I think I'll be really happy once they drop. I'm happy now but they're pretty high up. We just got home. Feels great to be back. I'll uplaod a pic :)
July 23, 2015
Congrats!!!! Mine were (are) high too...trusting the process :-)
July 23, 2015
Yes! Mine are high and hard lol I don't have to rub them bc they're the silicone gel. I've been having a tricky time w the band that pushes them down. I wear it when I sleep but during the day it's almost too uncomfortable... Have you had any issues with your band?

Looks great! No lift need :-)
July 23, 2015
I went bigger hoping that would compensate for not getting the lift and so far I'm happy! Can't wait to see them when they drop :)

And thank you :)
