Thanks for sharing this info:-) My dr mentioned that they use this too! I'm happy that I can buy some to have at home. My surgery is Friday and your recovery makes me feel positive about my experience. You look awesome!!!

For shower

This is the one that my husband bought from CVS is the same material than the ones that the nurse put me yesterday. The difference is that this ones pictures need gauze to cover the incisions. If you have them already covered you might just put this on this over these. But obviously you need to ask you doctor if it works for you. I did buy those because I got my dressings wet. I took them off, replaced the gauze and covered with this. Everything was directed by an advisor from the department surgery's care wound by telephone since I was home. So please just don't try without asking your doctor. I hope my experience help.

Thank you so much for posting this and the picture! I didn't know there was such a thing as waterproof dressing so I will definitely ask my surgeon :)

A week post op

I had an appointment yesterday for my one week post op. Everything looks good. The nurse said that I am healing well and she changed my dressings. She used a special dressings material that are very helpful for taking a shower. Previously my husband bought the same ones for covering the gauze.
