46 with 4 Kids...need Some Vaginal Rejuvenation Without Downtime! - Santa Barbara, CA

I completed 3 Mona Lisa treatments last year and had successful results...reduced urinary frequency and eliminated pain during intercourse. Since I was investing in the nether regions I also elected to have the Novasure treatment with Dr. Turner, a uterine ablation which was done under general anesthesia and has completely eliminated my periods (which had become so heavy I had to plan events around them). Seriously life changing procedures. I'm writing today because I went to Dr. Turner's office yesterday for a ThemiVa radio frequency vaginal tightening treatment. The procedure was @ 20 minutes and very comfortable (love his staff and his nurses are not only extremely professional but sweet and personable. The ThermiVa definitely tightens and improves the external appearance of the vagina... I actually saw the "after treatment" side next to the "before treatment" side in a mirror and the difference was phenomenal. I felt tighter and sexier last night than I have for years. I don't feel any soreness or irritation so I don't think it's swelling that attributed to the improvement, but I'll update. Like the Mona Lisa it is a series of three treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. Dr. Turner said that he is using both Mona Lisa and ThermiVa together (@30 minute treatment for both) to maximize patient results. I will try and be more consistent in updates as the Mona Lisa/ThermiVa and the NovaSure have seriously improved my quality of life in so many ways. I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Turner and his staff....knowledgeable, friendly and competent. Dr. Turner uses state of the art cutting edge technology. I seriously feel that my vagina is close to pre-4 baby condition, my libido is back and I am no longer going to neglect vaginal maintenance...I'm predicting touch ups annually to maintain the great results I've achieved! After four vaginal deliveries (2 in my 40's), my face has aged better than the area down under. I've been hearing about the Mona Lisa Touch for a few months, and when learned that one of the most reputable OB/GYNs in town had just acquired the laser, I called immediately for a consultation. During my consultation/exam, I learned that I have a minor rectocele and cystocele which may be improved from the Mona Lisa Touch. Dr. Turner thoroughly explained the procedure to me. I had it done this morning and it was much easier than I anticipated. No pain, no irritation and I went straight back to work (and didn't need to use the ice pack they gave me)! His medical assistant, Tracy and office manager, Christine were wonderful. I'm going back in 6 weeks for a 2nd treatment and will post more.
