Mini TT, some Lipo, No muscle repair w/ Dr. CHAPPLE not Dr. Gross - Santa Barbara, CA
ORIGINAL POST
I've decided to go ahead and get the tummy tuck. ...
WORTH IT$6,000
I've decided to go ahead and get the tummy tuck. I'm nervous but I booked my appointment today for next month.
I had a botched lipo done 5 yrs. ago and have hated my stomach ever since. I should never have done lipo in the front stomach area. My stomach and bb were great before. Now my bb is lopsided and have a lumpy tummy.
I feel confident with my PS, Dr. Gross in Santa Barbara. I would love any feedback and advise!

I got cold feet so I cancelled my surgery date. Maybe in the future??
I'm a bit afraid of the surgery and recovery time. It's such a big surgery. It's also very costly and it's hard to justify the cost. I would hope I would love the results and feel much freer in my body.

Aww, I know it is possible to get cold feet. Are you still considering it or decided against it for good?

If you had asked me a week ago.... But today, I'm seriously reconsidering! I'm going to see my PS Aug. 24th and make another appointment. I'll have to wait I'm sure but it will be worth it.

The odds are that if you do go through with it, you will be pleased as punch. If you go by the numbers of people who report/blog here, there aren't many who regret it based on the ratings, but it is a very invasive procedure with lots of downtime and months of recovery.

I found out that I can get the tt scheduled in late Aug. or Sept. I'm excited! I'm getting all my ducks in a row to see if I can actually make the time to do it soon. I'm feeling much more confident about it after reading everyone's blogs and seeing the amazing pics. Now I'm researching the best look for belly buttons. I understand there is a marble technique where you place a marble to help shape your bb as it heals. Apparently they can shrink as they heal. Lots of info here!

I have a date! August 24th!
I've decided to make the time and get my TT. I'm excited and nervous but it seems the excitement is winning out. I'm reading lots of posts and preparing. I have a bedside comode, Go Girl just in case, walker with a seat, lots of pillows, back pillow, leg pillow, neck pillow, sippy cups with a straw, making juice Popsicles, an ergomatic recliner, toilet riser, pads and more. So, I'm getting ready! I'll have cough drops and water by my bed and much more. Actually, I may be in the recliner more.
I have my first post op the next day after surgery so will be staying overnight at a friend's house. The next day I will go home about 2 hr. drive. PS will prescribe percoset and a sleeping pill. He does a drainless TT and I believe I will have lipo to the flanks and bra area and possible muscle tightening. Exciting!

I got a hospital bed and will use that. I also noticed some people have a tray table for the bed. I'll get one of those too. I also got a "grabber" to use when I drop things on the floor.
Lots of no sodium fresh food.
