How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

I am 23 years old, 5'8", 140 lbs. I went from about a 34 B to 34 D (VS sizes). Currently living in Los Angeles.
I have wanted breast augmentation since high school, but never had the opportunity to get one because of schooling. Finally, when I was done with college and my grad school program I decided this was the right time. So I did my research on the best plastic surgeon for me. The best information to help me make my decision were before and after pictures, reviews, and then the consultation. I am now almost three months post op and couldn't be happier with my decision! The surgeon I chose used 375 cc silicone implants, dual plane. I had a lot of anxiety before pre op about the size of my implants. Was I going too small? Too big and busty? It is so hard to tell what size you will end up with before the implants are actually put in, but that's where trust in the surgeon comes in. I expressed my concerns to Dr. Lowenstein, so he and his staff had me come in one last time before the surgery to try on implants and help put my mind at ease. It helped knowing that my surgeon knew exactly what I wanted and was also willing to be very clear in communicating what his operative plan was. Dr. Lowenstein and his staff were great pre op, during surgery, and post op!
Now about the recovery. Some say it was a walk in the park - definitely not the case for me. I was in a lot of pain the first two days and took my pain meds as closely together in time as recommended. I couldn't even sit up to get out of bed on my own without my caregiver's help. Time went by pretty slowly and it felt like the discomfort was never going to end. Then about two to three days post op, I started to feel a lot better and certainly in less pain. Although those couple days were rough, it was pretty smooth sailing from there.
Today, at three months post op, my breasts continue to drop and soften. They are beginning to look more and more natural, which I am very pleased with. Unfortunately, about a month ago I developed stretch marks all over the outsides of my breasts. Yikes. I didn't think this would happen to me since I have read it's so rare. I don't mind too much, but I guess I was just unlucky in that department.
Overall, SO WORTH IT! I feel more womanly now than ever. I thought about this decision for a long time and am glad I finally went for it. My new breasts give such a great hourglass shape and compliment my figure - exactly what I was looking for. I love them!
