Hi, I'm back. Still trying to navigate the site so I'm sorry if I don't respond to everyone....I have two little ones and it has been hard to recover and take care of them. Not a lot of time to get on here. I had my bandages removed yesterday and I am very very small...I was before so I'm not sure why I was so shocked. Maybe because I have had huge fake boobs for almost 20 years...lol. But I'm glad they are gone. Maye they will fluff a bit and won't look so strange. Time will tell. My PS said my implants were huge and that they were way too big for my body. He said if I wanted a tiny implant in the future he would put one in and I said "no thanks". Why would I ever have a non-medical surgery ever again? Now that I have children I realize the only thing that matters is being healthy and happy. My four year old said, "Mommy can I see your new boobies", I said sure and showed her. Then aked her, "What do you thing", she said "Well not what I expected". Kids are so funny. I will put up pic soon.

congrats!!! Doesn"t it feel great without them?
woo, hoo, soo great. :) I feel like an elephant just got off my chest.
Hi, I have had explant surgery. It was on May 29th 2012. I had saline implants for 18 years and was never happy with them.I had them in at age 52 yrs because I had remarried and my husband seemed as though he wasn't pleased with my natural breasts.So...like a dummy, I got implants. From the very start, I felt ridiculous.I believe to this day..that my husband got with the doctor and just before the surgery asked that they be bigger than I had requested.I started with 34 B's and ended up with a large 38 D. I had asked for a C cup.My husband passed away and I finally had them removed .Explanting is the best thing I have ever done for myself.I am truly me now.I regret ever doing that to please my husband. Actually, because of the pain they caused me..our intimacy went out the window. I know you will be much more comfortable now that you have gotten that foreign material out of your body.I send you my best wishes for a speedy recovery. This site helped me to make my decision more reassuring.I hope that more ladies will find this site and be helped as many of us have. This site is a real blessing. ~Trulyitsme~
Thank you so much for the words of encouragement. I have yet to show my husband...I am very small now and hoping they fluff a bit...lol...but like you I am so happy they are gone.

Hello, everything went well. I have no pain at all and feel fine other than the antibiotics making me dizzy and sick. I feel like someone filled my head with cement. Can't wait to be done with them. All the pain post explant I had is gone and I am 7lbs lighter! That was a lot of boob. Anyway, I took before pics and will take after pics when I get the bandages off on wed. I will post them then. Overall feeling glad it is done and happy to have them out.
