The photo was taken at two weeks post op. I look a little lopsided there but I’m not sure why. I am starting to round out and my boobs are way less firm but till not completely normal. Patience is key at this point which can be a little frustrating but looking of photos of myself before the surgery really helps. I m very happy wit the size I chose d very happy it’s the surgeon I went with. He was amazing before, during and after my surgery. He was relaxed and listened to what I wanted. My scars re crazy small and already healing very well. Otherwise I feel good. I have started walking for work everyday and am definitely not ready for running quite yet but I am very close. Feels good to get out and move and sweat.
I need all new workout clothes and sports bras. Currently looking ridiculous in my old and small stuff but I’m getting there.
I am overall so happy I made the choice to have my boobs done and I would pick it again. I was open and honest about it with everyone In my life and that as the best decision because everyone needs support during this. I will check back again soon!

Things are going great! My boobs are still really high and square and hard but they are dropping and softening every day. I am actually seeing a difference every day. Today I experienced boob greed for the first time, which was weird. I am starting to see what they are going to look and feel like and I put on some clothes to see what they would look like and I don’t necessarily
Wish I had gone bigger but they look more like normal boobs than big boobs. Weird to experience but not too bad!

Boob greed is now a concern I have! I thought I wanted 400cc, but I am considering more...

First post since my surgery. The first three days were pretty rough but I be have a huge improvement every day since that. I have almost full mobility in my arms which is really nice but my boobs till look really weird. They are extremely high, form, and tight. My PS told me I was clear to start massaging them and I have been doing it as much as I can. They seems to be loosening them up a bit but I am very noxious for them to drop and start looking normal.

Thanks so much for sharing!!! I'm 8 weeks out, choosing submuscular, silicone, and still unsure if I should go high or low profile as well as with 400cc or more. I'm 5'7" 140lbs 34A.

I was originally going to go with 450cc high profile but when I decided to go down to 400cc my surgeon suggested low profile because he thought it would look more natural it’s the size of my chest.

You mentioned second thoughts about going bigger. What leads you to that conclusion? I don't feel I've thought of enough questions to ask. I did tell my surgeon I wanted 400cc Mentor, silicone gel, submuscular, at the fold, last week, when I went in for my initial consult. He suggested "Allegan, which would leave me with 15cc at either 385cc or 415cc, basically a tablespoon". I didn't research that brand, since his website mentioned Mentor I read up on Mentor. I still don't understand the profile differences. I see a lot of high profile posts. What exactly does that mean? I Google searched homemade rice sizers, and will make some tonight. I'm anxious and excited, with confusion.

U can go onto mentors sight as see how tall and wide each size implant is. They use mod on people with a wider chest and HP on people with a narrow one. I think u get more side boob with mod.

After trying the 425cc and 450cc rice sizers, I contacted my PS's office to see if I could go in to try on more. Second consult is scheduled! I'll go back to Mentor's website, and Allergan's to check on the specs.

Great idea, I wish I had done that too. It's really really hard to decide on what size implants to get. My best advice is go bigger than what u think

That is what the assistant suggested. My husband commented on how he and I discussed a C sized cup. She immediately intervened and advised many women say a C cup, but really want a D cup. She was right. Now, I am trying to be sure I don't go too small or too big. When I get the chance to go to the store, I suppose I'll try on sports bras that are in the D range to see how they look under workout shirts. Using information from this site and several friends helps! :)
