So far so good folks. I still feel tight whenI bring my arms far over my head, when I cough hard (I have a cold - boo!!) And when I need to move very fast... But it's only around my incision. The actual exterior is very faint for a scar. Doc did a great job. Inside I think I still have sutures or something bc it feels like hard-ish little knots under the skin incision. I don't feel right massaging them and sometimes when I do accidently it makes a popping feeling. Hmm. Well other than that everything is great. They are not like real boobs yet, but getting there.

I can see the implant on the bottom of each breast slightly (on the interior lower section) but I know it's bc my upper body/chest was SO thin and flat... There's no fat, just a teeny bit of muscle and some skin. So that sucks but I'm sure over time it'll improve as fat/tissue grows around it.

Pictures later!

Thank you so much for your diary...it has been helpful. My surgery is scheduled for April 22 and I'm getting 575cc's moderate profile silicone implants. I have been very "nervous" about the sizing and I really want to be sure. I'm not sure when this was posted originally but if you have any updated photos I would love to see them. Thank you again, Lisa.

I am 5'4" and 150lbs +/-5 lbs. I'm very bottom heavy so my upper body looks much more slender.

Moderate profile, and it was only difficult for the first 2 weeks. The first week was very hard bc I couldn't really change diapers. You don't realize how much you use your chest... Until you can't. After two weeks you start to regain strength. By one month you are very self sufficient. And by now I can do almost anything... I pick up and carry my heavy 2 year old and even my 4 year old when needed.

Softer every day!

mizz_sv
I'm thinking it's been about 3 weeks now. No pain, just stiffness in the morning, and sometimes I'm sore after many hours of work. Getting my strength back slowly. I success fully moved and loaded heavy boxes. Driving for long periods still bothers me which is odd.
I can pick up the kids no problem, but I can't stand any pressure against my chest... So no cuddling for me lol :-(
I'd add a photo but it won't allow it for now... "It" being this site.

Did you find any supportive bras you like?
December 9, 2014
Not yet. I am not good at shopping for myself. I've been continuing to wear my post surgical bra and some sports bras w thicker bands.

I have a 4yr old and not being able to pick him up is a huge concern for me post-op. My hubby will be here the first week, but after that is what worries me. I have surgery 1-5-15 and I was wondering how long would you say you waited to pick your baby up? thanks for any help. Glad to hear all went well, and they look great!
December 9, 2014
I never really pick up my 4 yr old so I don't know what to offer there... But my 2-yr old is somewhat close to my 4 yr olds weight and I was able to lift him into the shopping carts n such after 10+/- days. I cannot hold them much tho bc I can't handle pressure on my breasts.... I hope that helps! Congrats on ur upcoming surgery!!!
