Getting my Abs Back: Tummy Tuck - Mexico, MO

Five weeks tomorrow!

WORTH IT$3,701
I am currently four weeks 6 days post op. I went in to see my doctor last Saturday believing I had a seroma. However, I'm happy to say I didn't have one. It was just very swollen. Other than that, everything has been great. So far, the recovery process has been better than expected. I took a few pictures this morning to show you my progress.

Very swollen!!

I'm three weeks & five days post op today and I couldn't be happier with the results so far. I'm back at work where I teach part time (4 hours) & then I go to my boutique from 12-7!! It's been tough on my abdomen. I swell like crazy, but I'm sure it's partially my fault because I may be over doing it. I'll post a picture using the same underwear as previous pictures for comparison purposes.

You look great..your scar is nice and low!
Thank you :) My PS asked me how low I wanted the incision and I replied as low as possible! :p I love to wear bikinis in the summer and I wanted the scar hidden. He did such an amazing job with the placement of the incision.
You look great! Love the curves!
Thank you :D I hope not to loose them as I continue to loose the baby weight.
WTG, I had a full TT, BA and lift, I am still really swollen but getting better! You tummy looks so thin!!!
Thank you! The swelling seems to be getting better. However, I saw your progress between week 2 & 4 and I was like WOW!! You look great. Is there anything you can recommend for the swelling to go down?

Hi how was having the pre-op on the same day as surgery as this is what il be doing on the 4th sept thanks you look brill x
Hi! Are you talking about my pre op picture taken hours before surgery? I just took that picture quickly at the hospital prior to surgery. My actual pre op consultation was two months prior to surgery and then had another consultation for labs two weeks prior to surgery.
Thank you for the compliment :) Wish you well and a speedy recovery on your future procedure! It's so worth it and I couldn't have made a better choice of getting it done.
Looks awesome!! Did you have any lipo?
Thank you! No, I didn't have any lipo done because the doctor didnt suggest I needed it (saved me $).
Yea your before pic didn't look like you did need it..and your curve looks amazing..so I was just curious..very good results!!
Thank you :) I couldn't be happier with the outcome.
Yeah I thought you had your pre-op on the day of surgery. I've yet to find one person that's in the same boat as me and its definitely worrying me because are there any meds that I have to take prior to surgery?
Oh, I'm sorry for the confusion. You don't need to take meds prior to surgery. However, I was told not to eat the night before surgery. I do suggest to begin taking fiber pills now, during, and after surgery to prevent constipation during the recovery process. It worked for me!
So you'll be having your pre-op on the day of your surgery? You've met with the doctor before right?
Yeah we met and it just felt right he was very thorough didn't want me jumping into any decisions he's a fully accredited PS in the uk and Pakistan and he's actually the top burns victims ps in Belfast. It's just that everyone else had their pre-ops days or weeks before surgery but maybe this is the way it's done here I'm not really sure I think just really nervous and I'm over anylizing everything :(
Sounds like he's a great doctor. I too felt like I was over analyzing things prior surgery & it's understandable considering the type of surgery. I'll be more than happy to answer any questions you may have based on my experience.
I met my PS only once for the initial consult, then he answered email questions I sent beforehand ( a small list lol), he offered another visit with him prior to surgery if I wished but i didn't feel like I needed it so I just had my preop
Oops continued..on the day, met the anesthetist etc. I think this is quite common in a lot of places unless there are specific health concerns or needs :)
Thanks so much banana29 x
You're welcome :)
