70 Yrs Old Dance Teacher Growing Old Gracefully! - San Jose, Costa Rica

When I first started thinking about facelifts, it was only a mild interest. After my brave brother returned from Costa Rica with a new facelift which only cost him one-third the estimates I had received in my home country of Canada and hearing how pleased he was with his experience, it encouraged me to continue my quest. I was wanting to do something to improve my looks. Since my retirement at the age of 60, I was devoting a lot of time doing volunteer work and teaching dances. My dance team was often called upon to perform in hospitals and senior care homes and so I thought: "Well, if I feel better about myself, I will be able to give more of myself to helping others".

So, I began doing my due diligence. For over 2 years I researched and finally set a consultation date with Dr. J. Cohen at the Clinica Rosenstock Lieberman in San Jose, Costa Rica. I was fortunate in being guided by Estela Araya, Coordinator for the Costa Rica Medical Group who was the best communicator; always available to answer my questions. Her responses to my emails were timely, informative and encouraging. She helped me plan everything and even called me by phone to make sure that I was comfortable with the progress.



Three months have passed since my surgery and, I must say, I have not had one ounce of regret. The patient care provided by trained nurses and by the doctors was exceptional. My husband and I stayed at the Autentico Recovery Inn and our stay there was thoroughly enjoyable. The February weather was beautiful, the food was excellent, the accommodations were clean and comfortable but most of all, the staff was very professional and attentive.



As for the doctors. I cannot find enough words to thank them for their care and kindness.

Dr. Noe Rosenstock is a delightful and enjoyable man, with a large smile and tons of enthusiasm.

Dr. Jose Cohen is funny, articulate and instills a sense of comfort with his demeanor.

Dr. Clara Lieberman, Surgical Director, is so very safety conscious, has many years of experience and adheres to the highest standards of medical practice. She made me feel like I was her daughter, her most favored patient, and wanted to transform me into a "work of art". The verdict is still out on that one.

In any case, to anyone who is contemplating going for this type of plastic surgery, I would strongly recommend the above-mentioned clinic. I am very grateful to all the members of this wonderful team who have succeeded in helping me look and feel much younger.
