Can I get some feedback from all you gals? Is it normal not to be able to fit into my clothes I used to wear before the surgery?? I am kinda disappointed with that. I was hoping to at least have them be loose on me...Has anyone experienced this? How long does it take for clothes to fit???

I've read tons of reviews about girls being swollen for weeks! A lot of them have said not to weigh yourself or try on clothes for a while..chin up! You look amazing and it will go away!

I hear this is normal. You look great! I'm 3 days post-op and I've been living in t-shirts and pajama pants. I'm very puffy and couldn't imagine trying to squeeze into my skinny jeans just yet. :-) We will be there eventually. It takes time. My plastic surgeon told me it would be a good 2 months to fully appreciate my new transformation. Hang in there!

I am 7 weeks po I had no swelling till week 5 so things fit better right away than now! I too was disappointed but you will not be a smaller size you will just not have that nasty ugly hang over, that's the conclusion I have come to! I absolutely cannot tell you how awesome I feel and how it was worth every penny you look amazing, I'm told you really can't wear anything around your waist till 10 weeks I'm noticing this last week I have been able to wear pants with a button but no jeans they hurt! Hang in there my doc says 6 mo till you can really be yourself again! I had tt with muscle repair and flank lipo so it was pretty extensive I still have lipo soreness STILL! Take it easy and know that yes that is normal you won't be a smaller size from the tt!

Hang in there !! U look great ! I'm 5 weeks post op tomorrow! I'm still having swell hell! In the beginning its rough but everday gets easier! I swell mostly in the evening but, the best thing to do is keep wearing ur compression garment, watch the salt in foods cause it bloats u, stay hydrated and take it easy! 7 days out I didn't attempt to wear anything but loose maxi dresses!! Ur body just went thru major surgery so just stay calm and the swelling will get better!! Day by day u will see changes!!

thank you for your encouragement. Today was really hard for me. I feel bigger than I was before Surgery with a flat tummy. Day 1 and 2 I thought I felt smaller. I hope it goes down enough so I can fit into the clothes I wore before surgery?? lol.. that would be counter productive TO GO HAVE TO BUY BIGGER CLOTHES...LOL i dont think that will be the case but days like this I just need to get through and be positive. Im so happy I have had no complications.

4 DAYS POST OP- Feeling Great!

4 DAYS POST OP--I am feeling great! My surgery was on Monday 6/23 at 10 am. Everything went really well. I wasnt as nervous as I thought I would be. No tears or gitters. My Doctor was amazing and made me feel so comfortable. I left the surgery center around 3pm. My mom drove me home and stayed with me til yesterday morning. So for Day 1-3 I had my mom with me. Today is the first day I am alone on Day 4 and I cant believe how good I feel. This whole experience has been almost pain free!! Just getting up and sitting down I feel a little discomfort. Dr Tony Pham has been wonderful. Calling me twice a day and making me and my mom feel very comfortable with the healing process. My scar is very low and thin.
I will keep my drain sin until Monday. I think keeping the drains in as long as possible is a smart decision. I have drank over a gallon of alkaline water everyday and have peed over 8 times a day. This is so important! I finally had a BM on Day 3 with the help of milk of magnesia. I am just so surprised how comfortable I have been. I was up walking around and making a smoothie on Day 2. My energy levels are good. I know when I have over done it and need to lay down and rest. I and using a zero gravity chair I bought on sale from Sports Authority. It has been great! I am very comfortable at night and its easy to get up. When I am done with it for my recovery I will use it for camping. :) Here are some pictures of my progress.
