My experience with Dr. Lay was incredible. He is a very talented plastic surgeon and has the best personality you could ask for. I'm now two months out and pretty much completely healed. I have a light pink scar that continues to fade and you cannot see it unless you were to look up under my chin for it. I got a really large square implant (Stryker) so you may heal even faster then I did. I took it easy for the first 6 weeks just to make sure I did not bump it. I was being overly cautious but the implant looks great and the discomfort after surgery subsided after the first week and it took about a month for all of the swelling to go down. I felt comfortable going out in public after the first week.
I would do the surgery again in a second and I would only have Dr. Lay do it. I drove over 11 hours just to have him be the surgeon that performed my implant. I may decide to add before and after photos later.

Dr Lay is the friendliest and most confident surgeon I have ever met. I met with several plastic surgeons in my area before I made the decision to drive 11 hours to have him perform my surgery. He is very humble but I assure you this is a celebrity caliber surgeon if I have ever met one. This doctor cares about the quality of his work as well as the safety of his patients. Yes, it was worth the drive!
