Permanent Lipstick is Awesome! - San Jose, CA

ORIGINAL POST

Hi, I had permanent lipstick done last month and...

WORTH IT$500
Hi, I had permanent lipstick done last month and decided to write a review. I am so happy I did this but still waiting for the pigment to lighten. I am posting my pics by date order so you can see the changes over time. I have been wanting to get permanent lipstick for a long time now and finally made the time to do it. I had my eyebrows done 3 years ago and it is now due for a touch up but too scared of the "ugly phase" where my eyebrows are black! I spoke to my new tatoo artist, Jennifer about it and she said she will be able to use a different color of pigment so it wont be black. We shall see.

I love the last pic look. Great color. Hope it doesn't get too light. I wish I would have went with a little more cherry color in mine. Don't ever go with a mauve color, anyone. Go pink or red or any other color. Mine look like i am starting to turn blue because of lack of oxygen. Not that bad but almost to me anyway. I use a shiny chapstick all the time and they look better. I had mine done about 6 yrs ago and still have color. I need a red touch up i think. I do not regret doing them. Just the color. Yours look good. Get a touchup since it is included in price . You will wish you did if you don't because they will lighten a lot. I do lay in the sun a lot but wear protection when i think of it.

How do you like it after your touchup ? Are you happy with the way it healed ? Do you like the color ? Keep a shiny chap stick on it and it will be pretty. You probably already know that. Do make sure there is sun block in it though. Hope you like it.... Caryn

Hey Caryn, thank you, I am liking it more now. the color seems to be constantly evolving. So while it is not as light as I would like it, it looks quite natural. I'll post a pic from today soon

I had my lipstick tattoo done on April 25, 2014. It was a 4 hour ordeal!! Jennifer was very patient and made sure I had a lot of topics anesthetic. However, it still hurt like mothertucker.
