I have had laser hair removal twice - first with an IPL (did not work at all) and then with the Cyneron laser. I had to learn the hard way that not all lasers are effective for hair removal and they can leave hyperpigmentation if the setting is incorrect for your skin tone. So it is imperative that the provider doing the laser procedure is qualified and experienced and that the laser is dedicated to ONLY hair removal. I have had about 20 percent re-growth so I need touch up treatments again but it is definitely worth it. I just wish I had paid the high price tag to go to a Dermatologist's office (instead of a spa) the first time as I have now spent over $3000 and still need more treatments.
