So I am back. This time I got a facial fat transfer and a lip lift .
Knowing dr lay for about 5 years now, I started to loose volume on the apple of my cheeks . Also my lips weren't as perky as they were 5 years ago. I want to maintain my youth. I didn't want any implant whatsoever . So Dr. lay recommended fat transferring. At first I was skeptical because i heard of scary stories of unevenness and when fat is in there, it is really hard to take it out and make it even again. Dr lay did an amazing job like always. I've known him for the longest time he never disappointed me. In fact, he is such an ethical, responsible, compassionate, loving and caring doctor; something I really recommend you look into when choosing any doctor than just treating you like an object.. He turned me down few months ago when I wanted to get it done bc he wasn't sure if I knew what my imperfection is than complaining to him and showing a bunch of models photos ahaha. But this time I knew exactly I needed more volume to my apple of the cheeks and my original perky lips . Anyway, I am very satisfied with everything. I am pretty swollen right now so I don't know the final results but knowing him for so long, he has the best bedside manners and follow ups schedule regardless of how busy his office is. Once I walked in and he literally had 6 surgeries same day! He gets out usually late at night but he doesn't mind because whenever he does my surgery or my family and friends.. He really take his time. I can literally sell my body to him and let him do any kind of surgery bc I trust him that much! He made me look better than what I expected with amazingly defined cheekbones with my own fat! I am extremely happy ! He literally called me right when I got home from surgery to make sure I feel ok and that I got home safe. Unlike most doctors I have to call constantly to ask questions, he really leave me at ease.

The best doctor ever!! Seems that this guy is great at all kinds of surgeries! I see the great results he's giving on eye lids on his Instgram and omg! This doctor is the best! Hes the only dictor i would trust on my eyes I wish i could have him work on my face!!!

Hi, I just called his office to get an estimated cost for face fat transfer,thats what im willing to do but i cant afford it,its too much for me especially right now!!but once i can,he would be the one to consider working on my face :) He's great and im advising every body looking for a face job to consider him

The procedures you have gotten so far are exactly what I have been contemplating getting (I noticed some of your earlier reviews, which were also very helpful). Your fat transfer and lip lift both look very natural and beautiful :) How long after rhinoplasty did you need to wait before a lip lift?

Rhinoplasty at least 8 months to 1 year. I would suggest getting ur lip lift first and then your rhinoplasty . Lip lift heals quicker. You can go for rhinoplasty after 3-4 months.

My name is Nikita, I too have a high regard for my PS (here in Cape Town South Africa). I must trust him as I had him do a breast reduction on my 22year old daughter (which turned out beautifully). My only gripe is that the FT he did on my face after 7 months cannot be seen only for the now having enlarged pores and breakouts. Also the area around my mouth an chin is still with deeper lines and looks like they are getting worse (I paid for a full face procedure), my friend say they cannot say that they can see any difference at all (I am 54 years old). He has agreed to do a "redo" of my right eyebrow that is lower than the left (he did a eyebrow lift at the same time as the FT) at a very minimal charge, which I think fair and am grateful for, but the quote that he gave me to do the deep lines with FT around my mouth and chin in almost as much as what he charged me for the Full Face FT procedure. At the moment he said that he would rather do Suture treatment (dissolving Sutures) instead of the FT. Not sure witch direction to go with all this, financially I think this is costing me more than what we set out to do in the beginning and now I will have also correct the bad skin problems! I respect my PS, but was very disappointed with the outcome!

That Is a tough one and am sorry for ear trouble. Without photographs I can't be very helpful but I can to you that fat transfer does have some variability in the outcome in each patient. In general the younger the patient the more reliable the outcome with fat transfer. Dissolving suture technique and not familiar with but I assume it is similar to something called Sculptra. This is a good alternative to fat transfer and sometimes used to touchup areas after fat transfer. Your skin condition is a little bit of a mystery to me. Sorry can be more helpful. When I do fat transfer I try and put as much as I possibly can even though it makes the patient's look pretty bad for 1-2 weeks because I find it gets a little bit better long-term results.

Hey Nikita, I am sorry to hear that you had such a horrible experience. If the outcome wasn't what you expected, you need to let him know it is his job to redo his botched work! Afterall he gave you his word and you have him your trust to go under the knife. My physician even talked about coming in for a touch up when everything settles down to see the final result. If he screwed up on the brows where it looks uneven, he needs to redo it for you and you only pay for the materials and not the service. I think this is something you should talk to him and tell him how upset you are and why you trusted him in the first place to operate on you. Especially when you are a returning patient who will continue to be his patient in the long run for facial rejuvenation.

Taree, I was thinking the same thing. very expensive for this procedure. Cali is expensive. In Florida it is about $2500 for full face.

Your doctor did an excellent job! I also had a great experience with fat transfer. It is nice to see others who have as well. I have read a lot of bad results on this site which is unfortunate. I think this is a great procedure if it is done by a doctor who is skilled in fat transfers. I agree that you get what you pay for, and trying to find the best price for plastic surgery is not always a good thing.
