WORTH IT
I am one day post op from a full lift and implant. I used this site so much while I was waiting for my surgery date(I booked in August so I had a long time to read and learn) so I hope I can help someone else...once I see my breasts I can update to worth it :)

I went back and forth a lot between going larger(up to 320) but ultimately decided to use the smaller implant(260) my surgeon initially recommended to make my lift as successful and long lasting as possible. I have lost at the most 85lbs and have now been holding at a 75lb weight loss. I am 29 with no children(child free by choice&married for 5 years now) so that did not impact my decision. My breasts were a 38c or 36d depending on the bra with one nipple on the lower pole slightly facing forward and the other one pointing at the floor. I finally realized I am too young for flapjack boobs and my upcoming 30th birthday has kicked me in the ass as far as doing the things I want to do for myself.

I chose Dr Creasman because he is very experienced and professional and has done augmentations on two of my close friends/co workers, a few of my clients and the receptionist at my estheticians office! I only went to a consultation with him since he said everything I wanted to hear in a thorough manner and his staff is so great and responsive. I believe he charges more than most however his experience is what I am after and I wasn't looking to save $ on this.

So my surgery was yesterday. I arrived with my mom at 6:35am and was in the operating suite by 7:30. The doctor drew on me first before I went under and the nurses and anesthesiologist were so nice! I wasn't scared at all. Then I woke up fully clothed at I think 11:30ish and I was home and in bed by 12:30. Then my mom went home and my husband came home from work and he is with me today and most of tomorrow then all weekend. Between him and my mom I have great caretakers. Very thankful. My mom and dad also have our three dogs at their house until I feel comfortable using my arms more(maybe Sunday or Monday?)

Dr creasman called me last night to check on me but I didn't have much to say. I wasn't in a lot of pain yesterday or today and I'm staying up on my meds. I got nauseous once from walking around my house too fast but didn't throw up and it went away once I sat down.

My first post op is tomorrow at 10am at which point I can shower! I did not get drains although I went into surgery thinking I would need them. I can't wait to see them tomorrow! I will update more and post pictures once I can move my arms to take some as I've been instructed to keep my arms at my sides until tomorrow. Only discomfort is sore muscles and the band of my post op sports bra feels tight. I hope this all makes sense! Still have pain pills in my system! I have two weeks off work because I am a hair stylist and then an assistant to do my shampoos and blowdrying if I need for 2 weeks when I get back. I'll update more tomorrow after my post op!

I got to see the new additions for the first time! I knew they would look a little freaky at first but I can see they will look great when they heal. My nipples look perfectly symmetrical and point forward. They are round and I am happy with the size and am very glad I didn't go bigger. My left breast is more swollen because he removed some tissue from that one. I had slight asymmetry and he corrected that with the lift so my implants are the same size. They are also closer together which explains why my sternum was very sore as he said he released muscle in that area.

I'm still taking it easy and am working on switching from Vicodin to Tylenol. Drinking a lot of water and eating healthy food.

My body is very bloated which I know will pass. I had two bm's this morning after taking 3 stool softeners yesterday and one this morning along with some black coffee. That felt amazing as I was starting to feel very backed up. I also learned to roll up a soft boot sock and put it under the front band of my post op sports bra. It feels amazing as the band was irritating me a little bit. I am cleared to shower but am waiting until my husband gets home from work to help me. I don't feel that dirty since I haven't done anything but lay around.

All good so far! I must remember to take it easy. I'm excited to have my dogs come home on Sunday. Next post op appt is in one week.

Day 3

Today is the last day I am taking Vicodin. I took 1/2 a Vicodin with one Tylenol every 6 hours today with no changes in discomfort so tomorrow I will switch to Tylenol only.

Nothing else new. My back was becoming very sore from laying on my back so much so I grabbed one of my dogs tennis balls and gave myself a back massage with it by placing it between the wall and my back and moving around. It felt amazing.
