So it's been a year since my breast augmentation surgery. I have to say I am please with the results for the most part. I do however wish I had went up to the 400cc size but I still love my results. They are soft and squishy. I still do not have much nipple sensation but I can fell every where else around the breast. I still hoping it will return completely.

Congrats on your one year mark. Mines is coming up soon. You look great! Was your incision around the areola? That was a big concern for me reasons I chose the crease for my incisions.

When you mention nipple sensitivity - do they still get hard and pointy in the cold and does that just not happen? Or is it just more of a numbness?

The left breast is still higher in my opinion. I guess it my normal anatomy. Boobs are very soft and squish. I sleep on my stomach, I have been for several months now. One thing I'm noticing a lot more is like electrical shocks in my right breast. I think I read somewhere it the nerve ending reconnecting. Oh yeah still no nipple sensation just nipple soreness in both breast.

Glad to hear you're doing ok. My incisions are under, no soreness any where. Are your incisions around the areola? I have read many times with that incision it could be up to a year or more before the numbness goes away; first time hearing about the soreness though. I am experiencing the sharp shooting pains or just pain in one place in my breast from time to time. You're looking great!

Thanks for the compliment! My incisions are under the breast as well. But still my nipple sensation is slow to return. My surgeon did warn me that the nipple sensation would take a while to return but I did not think it would take this long. I actually would describe my nipples as more sensitive rather than sore. Do you have full nipple sensation?

I do, they were never numb just very sensitive the first couple of weeks; drove me crazy! I'm a little numb right above my incisions, I can feel my fingers but not the norm the way it should be; and it's improving with time. Question for you. You and I are close in cc's, do you wish your boobs were a little larger?

Yes I do wish I went just a little bigger. I'm 370cc in both breast. I wanted to do 400cc but my doctor talked me out of it. He felt it would be way to big for my frame. I'm on 5'1" 110-115 lb. With a push up bra I do look huge, so I'm able to achieve a bigger look if I want. Do you wish you've went bigger?

They look great!!! How long after surgery did you notice them softening up? I have 305cc sientra textured and I'm 6 weeks post op. They feel firm to me. Just wondering if yours felt firm in the beginning and when they started to soften? Thanks!

Thanks! Yes like your boobs, my boobs as well felt firm initially after surgery. They even looked like square boobs to me. Within 3 months they had soften up a great bit, and by 6 months my boobs are very soft and bouncy. It takes time but be patient and you will be so happy with them. Good luck!

YES! My PS said I could go bigger. I'm tall 5'10" 165 pound. My body frame is slender and my weight is because of my height. I'm 375/435 cc's I think! (I can never remember...lol) I was afraid of going too big because I didn't want my boobs to be the first thing anyone sees. We were going with 500 cc's but not knowing I backed away from it. Like you I can get the larger look with a bra, but I will admit there's a little disappointment there with my size. My PS said I can do the surgery later and go larger. No thank you! That was a big sacafice for me that I wasn't aware of. I work out and lost most of my hard work. So now I'm starting pretty much over again in the gym. I'm just now starting to feel like my old self. I can say this...I look so much better than I did before!

YES!!!I I was so afraid of being too large my PS gave me smaller implants from he wanted, which was the 500 cc range. Like you I get a larger look with VS bras, I just hate they way they make me feel. It seems I'm always hugging someone when I'm wearing the bra and they feel is hard padding. ☹️ I'm just really glad I did go larger than I first originally planned; which was a full
C. Needless to say I would have been real disappointed...lol. But over all I am pleased, because when I look at old pics and see how inflatrering I looked in my clothes and how I look and feel now; makes me feel better about not going larger. Re-doing the surgery is out of the question.
