Dr. Lay is one of the funniest, kind, and awesome dr I have met! I had Asian eyelid surgery with him somewhere around Feb 2015 and it has been a long journey. Most people eyelid heal around 1 month but mine took about 6 months for it to heal. Yes 6 months!!!! He said my case is not common because my eyelid skin is thin so it took longer to heal. Dr. lay has been great and did whatever he could to fix this problem. He could have easily ignore my problem since I already paid him everything but he didn't. This show he really cares about his patient and not only in it for the $. He continue to ask me how my eye was and he also gave me a little steroids on my lids to help speed the process of my eyelid healing. Now that my eyelid finally heal it looks great and I am very happy. Dr. Lay is a great Dr and if you want Asian eyelid surgery I would totally recommend him. He's not money hungry and will tell you if you need it or not because there was some things I wanted and he said no I didn't need it. I would totally do this surgery again if I knew about how long my recovery would take because it was worth it in the end.

Welcome to the community and thanks so much for offering your opinion of your doctor.

It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.

Our community members especially love seeing photos from before, during, and after — a realistic look at what they can expect. Photos grab the attention of the community and encourage more support for you.

As a community manager, I get requests all the time from other members who want me to to keep encouraging people to share their experiences, which are so helpful for others considering these procedures. So please accept this as a well-intentioned request from thousands.
