Ummmhh life....cant tell if I hate it or okay with it. At one hand if I hadn't had this cosmetic surgery done, I did be said for sure because of terrible hair genetics. The other hand says, I have it and I am kinda of happy. However, realized I have a terrible case of body dysmorphia disorder now as told by my therapist and psychiatrist. So here's a list of pros and con that I need written down just to keep my mind over with these thoughts.
Pros:
- Less insecure
- No one ask "Where are your eyebrows ?" anymore
- Have a more forward and future looking mindset.
- I became a mroe empathetic person as I too suffered deeply with depression, social anxiety and BDD.
- More confident with approach cute girls ( I am straight )
Cons:
- Damn the hair is ugly!! Not natural looking, but okay enough. There is no curve to the hair, straigh up a terrible straight line as shown in my past photos.
- I suffer depression and BDD more severly now :(. (Would love it if someone that could relate with me, be my chat buddy and friends. We can skype or Hangout, Im from San Francisco BTW. Currently in college , studying computer science.)
- People question if I shaved my eyebrows. Meaning the hair looks cut and no pointyness to it as normal hair does.
- Well... in many ways I hate and love myself. Hahah, thanks for reading. :)

It doesn’t appear that the doctor you used put the hairs in correctly.

I’ve had two procedures done and this is normal. All you have to do is train the hairs to grow in the direction you want. I use a spooly and hairspray to hold the hair in the direction I want. You can also use brow gel. After a few weeks/months the hair will grow much better. The hair will also start growing thinner and softer after the first year. You actually got a good result. Patients and time is key!

what is your hair like? I notice that my female friend's blonde Caucasian hair toughness and texture are different from my hair texture being different.

My hair is medium thickness but the hair on my brows thinned out closer to 2 yrs after the procedure. Trust me. Get extra hold hairspray and a spooly! You’ll have them trained in a few months. Also before you go to bed load the spooly with spray and then press the hairs against the skin so they stick to it flat.

Did you have hairs that stick straight out chiefs1? Or did you train hairs that were already well placed? Mine stick straight out:(

As someone who had the transplant for two years by now . Please take my advice and look over my past posts on how my experience has been . I certainly went through ups and downs . At times I am a perfectionist and I want perfection but they can be difficult when the hairs are difficult to control .Due to the coarse structure and the growth rate of the hair. Any methods and treatments done to the hair for it to look natural it’s only temporary.
Can you recommend a doctor since you said that you would recommend yours?
And what is your final solution to get them laying on the skin?
I am BTW really happy for you that you love yourself and your life and you are doing a therapy :)
