Scar on Side
The scars on each side have widened. I'm thinking it is due to the restrictive bra that I wore non stop for 4 months. The bra helped my breasts to heal perkily in place so it was worth it but there was a wire on the side that rubbed on this area and I am assuming that is why it scarred that way. I'm getting them revised today.
1 Year Later
First of all. I am completely happy I did this procedure. I feel like my body is finally proportional. I'm not all boobs anymore. I can wear swimsuits and sundresses and cute button up tops that would never have looked right before. My new boobs aren't perfect but, in my opinion, they are much better as so much more "me".
They have softened and look and feel like real boobs again. They have kept most of their post-op fullness and don't sag. I lost all feeling in the right nipple but honestly, I don't really mind that. The sensations along the right side breast that were gone right after surgery have come back. I have scars that aren't super pretty, but I knew that was the price of surgery. I'm grateful I don't have the strait line down from the nipple and I'm glad I have the "internal bra" to hold these girls up. It was an intense recovery but again, I feel like it was worth it.
I'm going in to get a couple of small revisions this week. I have tiny mouse ears at the cleavage that Dr Lowen will remove and I will also address the scars on the side. Wish me luck!

9 Month Update
Loving the freedom of going braless this summer! Also love wearing strapless swimsuits that look great without anything holding up the girls! They aren't perfect but I love them!
