So Happy I Could Cry.
I have wanted a breast augmentation for as long as I can remember. I got into weightlifting/health and fitness about 5 years ago, and my boobs shrunk down to a non-existent training-bra like size A. I did a ton of research and shopping around before I found De. Lepore, and boy, I am glad I chose him to change my life.
The initial consultation was fantastic. I took my boyfriend with me as support, and we were greeted with a professional and friendly staff as soon as we walked in. I filled out all of the usual forms and made my way into the examination room. After only a few minutes of waiting, Dr. Lepore came in- i was instantly at ease. He was kind, gently, and really listened to what I was looking for. I wanted my results to look as natural as possible- not too big and not too "skanky"- overall, I wanted them to match my frame. After speaking with him for quite some time about this, he suggested some sizes, and Donna came in to help me try on boobs (lol). After some boob-modeling, I chose my size and met with Donna to discuss payment, etc.
The payment process was easy. I had to get a physical before surgery, but i was so excited, i scheduled surgery for the end of the month. I literally was counting down the days. The doctor prescribed me some meds (anti-nausea, pain meds, etc) before surgery, and i picked them up a few days before the surgery date. The anesthesiologist called me the night before my surgery to ask if i had any questions and give me a preview of what was going to happen the next day. That made me feel awesome- big points for that.
On the day of surgery, I was super nervous. The nurse that greeted me made me feel completely at ease, though. To be honest, when they put the IV in my hand, I passed out (and ive never passed out before.. lol). Regardless, the nurse handled this professionally- i even felt MORE comfortable after i woke up from my episode. I then was led into the inpatient surgery room and was out just like that. The next time i woke up, i had boobs!
Recovery was pretty easy. A little bit of pain, but its to be expected with surgery. I had transauxillary implants (through the armpit) and did not have any issues. One breast was initially higher and "dropped" slower than the other, but this is to be expected.
I went in to see Dr. Lepore after my 6 weeks of recovery, and was cleared for all exercise. I have 0 problems. I love them so much. I literally get compliments everywhere I go- everyone says how natural they look and how great they fit my body. I feel so great, and I am so thankful. The entire process was incredible, and I will shout Dr. Lepore's office's praises from the rooftops for as long as I live. I am so thankful that he did such an incredible job. You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED if you go to him for a breast augmentation. THANK YOU Dr. Lepore & staff! You've changed a girl's life and have one happy customer. :)
