After years of consideration, I got tumescent lipo of the chin, neck and jowls area. Overall, the results are great. My neck looks slightly aged from skin laxity (and likely loss of baby fat). I have some visibility of ligament/bad under chin, and a very slight surface irregularity on neck. But overall, I look and feel so much better and have been getting lots of compliments. I did lose about 25 lbs after the surgery, but before, when I lost weight elsewhere on my body, I never lost fat in my chin or neck area. My surgeon was very skilled and let me know exactly what to expect. He was careful not to overdo it and maintain good balance with my fuller face and mindful in general of not removing too much fat from the face area, which can cause people to look aged. I do wonder if I did this in my twenties if id have a little less skin laxity. But ether way, I'm glad I did it, and only wish I hadn't waited so long to do it.
