I am 56 years old and have been very unhappy with my under eye area. Recently went back to my plastic surgeon and asked to try restylane again to fill the under eye area and camouflage my malar bags if possible. We used about 1.5 syringes and I am very pleased with the outcome!! I previously had this treatment with the same doctor and fave up with one syringe because I really didn't see any improvement and it is pretty expensive. I decided to try it again and we used a little more and I think the results are great! Procedure was easy and not very painful. I had quite a bit of swelling but it went away in about 3 days. Will definitely keep this up!

Hello! Thank you for your comment. My doctor said anywhere from 6-12 months I will need a touch up and it will probably require less than the original amount. It lasts the longest under the eyes. I know that is a lot of money but surgery is very tricky with my particular issue (malar bags). I will let update when I notice it going away!

I am just now, March 2017, realizing I need fillers again. So it's been 2 years which is very good.

It's a tough one! I'm really happy. Just hate that it costs so much and is temporary. I have thought about surgery but the malar bags are so tough and hard to treat! Now im trying to find a great concealer to cover the redness on my malar bags! I've tried dermablend with the best result. Almost perfect!

I am also going to have a peel to tighten the skin under my eyes this coming summer. I am going to a wonderful oculoplastic surgeon who only works on the eye region and he is improving my issue and we will continue to work on it. I am 68 and need to be happy with my results which are very good. I had bags removed twice which was not a good idea but the best that was done at that time. The Restalyne and Voluma have helped camouflage the malar bags.

I am so very impressed! You have an appearance that shows you give yourself care and appreciation. You resemble my gorgeous mother and I wish she would get these treatments because people still think we look like sisters. Next thing you know, if she were to have what you had done, people will ask if she's MY daughter :)
