(** Note I wrote this review on Sunday, 4/17 and am not posting it today. All my comments are from the day after the procedure, I am just getting to this now because I want to be clear this picture and my responses were from the day after my procedure. Thanks!)
I have to say I am amazed at how wonderful my lip augmentation was with Dr. Ransom yesterday (yes, yesterday). For these reasons I am impressed:
1) It did not hurt at all.
2) There was virtually no swelling AT ALL.
3) He did my upper and lower lip evenly, and they look natural -- just like my natural proportions -- amazing!!!
4) Look at the picture (that I will try to post) from DAY 2. NOTE HOW THERE IS in no swelling my lips, & this was done yesterday and there are NO BLACK AND BLUE MARKS, he avoided all my major blood vessels going into my lips -- don't ask me how, but this doctor knows his anatomy.
5) I have had this done before by another doctor, and had monkey lips for days and black and blue marks at the injection sites. Everyone knew what I had done, and it was disconcerting for me. I won't go back to that other doctor.
Additionally -- Dr. Ransom is exceptionally careful, & you will get natural results with him.
No other doctor can do this without some swelling and right after it was done, still no swelling and no bruising.
My lips look beautiful, but they are still MY LIPS. He always amazes me in how he strives to keep his patients looking like themselves, but the very best version of themselves.
If you want painless, natural looking, lip injections with virtually no swelling or at worst minimal swelling, go to Dr. Evan Ransom. His assistant, Dee, is wonderful and will explain everything to you to mitigate any fears and to answer any questions you have. In fact, Dr. Ransom, while he is with you, he takes his time -- and he asks very SPECIFIC questions about what you want done (in other words he actually cares), and will ask what results you want, and then he delivers. He himself during the procedure will explain exactly what he is doing, and will answer any questions you have himself. I will go to no one else now for lip augmentation.
BTW, I see my mom all the time, and she is against aesthetic procedures like this (she's old school) and would be floored if she knew I got my lips done. But nah.... in fact I saw later her the same day yesterday, and the next day -- even she had no clue. And my mother looks at me with fine tooth comb. But when I put chap stick on, or lipstick (wow) I see just how beautiful Dr. Ransom made me my lips. And there was no pain, and virtually no swelling. The next day, in the morning my lips were a little swollen, but after about an hour or two of massaging them and getting up and walking to get my blood flow going, they were perfect as they are now. I'd say I had two hours -- max -- of any swelling. And it was only in the morning the next day when I woke up. After those two hours -- no one on earth could tell I had my lips done. And that's what you want!!! And this is day two!! DAY TWO!!!! Who else can give you these kind of results on day 2?
If you want this done discretely, like most women, and if you want it done right -- and with real care, go to this doctor. Him and his team are the absolute best and I know from experience. I did have eye surgery with him, and he treats me as consistently kind and important as if I was going to have some major done like a facelift or something, & even though I am no longer a surgical candidate, you wouldn't know it by his care and loyalty to his patients. I can't express enough how gracious, careful and exceptionally talented Dr. Ransom is.
Thank you Doctor Ransom, for doing my lips so gorgeously, and for doing it in such a way that even a day later, no one would ever know. Talk about privacy, and deep and real caring for his patients and a real knowledge and know how -- and just outright straight up expertise.
