I am young female with full hair, atleast I was before the procedure. This procedure ruined my life. I lost half the hair on my head and 2 years later it has yet to grow back. My doctor couldnt believe it when I showed her and says it will never grow back. The scar in front of my hairline is about the width of a thumb. ITS HUGE! Im forced to keep my head covered forever. Im severly depressed everyday. Please, stay far away from Dr. kabaker and this procedure.

What procedure did you have done?

wow...I'm so sorry you went thru this. I know from experience that you would've thought this would change your life in a positive way and it hasn't. my experience with Dr. Kabaker is totally different. I travelled from a Caribbean country to Oakland to have this procedure done. I got there on a holiday and I took the wrong bus and got to the office hours after I was supposed to but Dr. Kabaker and his team waited on me and they were really nice. I had even taken some local treats for him from my country. I had the surgery done and then spent another week in the US so he could remove the stitches. I flew back home and after some time my hair started falling out so I panicked. I sent Dr. Kabaker pictures and he asked questions, I answered, he encouraged me to use the minoxidil which I did and eventually it grew back. i was lucky tho because my hair has always been thick so i was able to cover up the initial loss by styling my hair differently. my scar is almost invisible and it disappears when I use foundation. I can now comb my hair back with confidence, something I was never able to do in more than 40yrs. Like I said, I'm sorry this didnt work out for you but I guess our experiences will not all be the same.
