Beware of this doctor

My hair has become even thinner. I went to multiple doctors since my last reviews and they have all confirmed my scalp is too tight and cutting off circulation. I am not a candidate for hair transplant to camouflage my hair loss. Extensions will only cause more hair loss and wigs will constrict my scalp more. There's nothing to fix this. Please beware when you do this surgery. ????

I am so sorry that this happened to you! Can you post pics? I had this done with the same surgeon. He informed me that I may lose some of the fine hairs around my hairline, but should grow back. Where is your hairloss? I am so sorry!!!

There is ripples where he sewed the skin to my forehead. It's not smooth. My scalp is super tight and I have headaches constantly from the pain of the tightness. Im not sure if it's scar tissue causing it or he pulled it too tight or what. Lost over 1/2 my hair density. It's embarassing. Maybe since my surgery he's become more careful--I hope so. Hope ur ok. Hi Sweetheart, and I say this in terms of thinking of you as if you were my daughter. I'm guessing that you're female; I didn't take a look at your picture. You've been through a lot and the year isn't over yet. You've been through something painful prior to your surgery, since you were researching surgery to remove or lessen the viewable scar. Please give yourself time to heal. Your mind, body, and healing is reacting to a lot of things. If I were you, I'd stop going to the doctors in Singapore or anywhere else for advice. Look within and at yourself. May I give you some guidance with a sense of what I'd do for self? 1. Without looking: Do you feel the size of your forehead is the right height meant for you? 2. Is it true? Yes, then be for a few hours doing what you do best. No, then acknowledge where is the height your forehead should be and write it down. 3. Then after 4 hours, including a meal and rest after the meal, take a look at your forehead size, and ask yourself: Do I like my forehead size or can I live at my best potential with it? 4. Is it true? Check yourself for your own inner confidence and take another 3-4 hours break doing something active to get your circulation moving and massage your scalp afterwards. Give yourself some warm and cool therapy, and oil afterwards. 5. Be affirmed you're within 1 year of your surgery, AFTER your body finally released and was processing whatever traumatic event you went through to have a scar on your forehead. Forgive yourself for that traumatic experience. Be angry and renounce hatefully the traumatic experience. Begin to heal everforward from the traumatic experience, having that moment documenting and archiving whatever it was. If you need a momentum/relic to look at, go get a rock or something to identify what that hurt was and is processing to leave from your life. Rocks are good memory pieces for good and for bad times. Now that you have to complete the process, take a look at your progress and have faith that your body knows how to regrow hair. Even cancer patients regrow hair. Take care beloved, and be your best everforward, step by step. OK, You? .... sorry we can't talk for me to see your progress, but I will be smiling with faith that you're beautiful and full hair and all within 3 years, even though I believe you'll experience it your timeliness with God's guidance for you. Me? .... I have my own issues to get through, including a forehead reduction surgery, private feminine surgery from a homebirth, divorce and custody orders that I'm still giving information and review of, career findings, and more.

Hello, I am considering this Doctor for this procedure because all of his other reviews are wonderful. I don't see your pictures at all (before or after) can you post them to help the rest of us out?? Also, did he test your scalp for "laxity" before the procedure?

Picture added. It's hard to show how thin my hair is but if I show my scalp hopefully it helps to see how much distance between each hair now.

Every woman in my family has very thick ehtnic hair. I also did until right after the surgery I quickly lost over 1/2 my hair density. Please don't be so cruel to berate victims of careless doctors. this a forum for patients to tell their personal experiences in hopes to help others.

I am so sorry my message came out wrong :(,, my first option was dr kabaker( okland/San Francisco/your doctor) his many pictures really attracted me and others I am sure :/.....however your review made change my mind:).. I am thankful for that.. I am in my 25th day stil nervous about hair falling out. Risk stil possible til 4th month.. My doctor warned me about all complications.. All I was saying is that the picture doesn't show the real damage,,and NO I have no connection to my doctor at all, I do this review to help others like the way you helped me:),,,, I am so sorry, never meant to make you sad.

To answer the questions: I have hair loss all over my head and lost more than 1/2 my hair density. My hair is so thin it's embarassing.

The lowering tightens Ur scalp so u will experience blood loss cuz of restriction and loose hair. If you don't mind then do this procedure. I would suggest u get many grafts over time on your forehead than do this procedure. If I could go back in time Id never do this again.

I'm so sorry that this happened to you. Did the dr mention that you might have hair loss from the procedure? Do you think the hair loss is getting worse? What kind of procedure did you have? Was the incision across your forehead? Sorry for so many questions but I am considering a brow lift.

@cindyf: it started falling out right after the procedure and hasn't stopped. I've lost more than 1/2 my hair density and it's not stopping. If it was shock loss it would have stopped. I Have gone to other Drs and they told me it's from blood restriction to the scalp since the scalp is too tight. Im wondering if scarring under the scalp is making the scalp tight and therefore restricting blood flow. I wish someone could fix it so I have my thick hair back. I wish I never did this surgery.

I was going to say the same thing. That it sounds like the blood supply has been impeded during the healing process. Maybe scar tissue is blocking the blood supply? Do some research on doctors who can do scar revision with this type of surgery. Praying that all works out for the best in the end for you dear.

Hi there, I'm so sorry to hear of your experience. Is the hair still thin? Has it grown back? Or has it gotten worse?
