Update- two months and change since bleph
WORTH IT$2,300
Very happy. He is not a "hand-holder"- treated me like the professional I am and respected my desire to muscle through the procedure as an in-office procedure (saved a thousand bucks by not having anesthesiologist and surgery center fees). When I decide that I want more "work" done, I will be back!
Update- two months and a week post surgery
He did an excellent job medically. I have no scars and look totally natural. However, I have downgraded my "aftercare and follow-up" rating to a one star. There has been absolutely no communication from Dr Ransom or Dee his receptionist, since my sutures were removed. Granted, there has been no medical need. However, he did tell me that his receptionist would be calling to set up a check-in appt. to make sure that I was healing well. She has not called. On the day after my surgery, I would have appreciated a call from his office to check in as to how I was feeling, and if I had any questions or concerns. There was no such call. In San Francisco, excellent doctors are a dime a dozen. It's the little things that can add up and push a patient one way or the other.Making a couple of phone calls, one, the day after surgery, and one maybe a month later to see how I am doing would be such an easy thing to do, and the pay-off is huge for the doctor. As is, I am seriously considering another procedure, a much bigger one this time, but I won't be going back to Dr. Ransom. I'm going to need a little more support and warmth. I'm going to Dr David Khan for this one! http://www.sf-plastic-surgery.com/ After my initial consult with Dr K and his colleague Dr. Mo, I know that I am going to receive not just excellent medical attention, but the warmth and support that will make my recovery a comfortable experience.

Upper Eyelid Lift-MAJOR Success - San Francisco, CA w/a before pic
Here is a pic of my eyes before (as requested)! The question was asked why I had bruising under my eyes when I had the upper eyelids, not lowers done. I don't really know? Maybe because trauma pools underneath the eyes? Also I had local anesthesia for the procedure- the numbing injections HURT (just like at the dentist) but the procedure itself was painless.

I noticed that my upper eyelids had become "hooded" over the last year or so. My eyes naturally go down at the sides but recently it looked as though I were tired all the time. I am one month post surgery-NO scarring, NO change in my appearance other than I look better rested AND I can see a bit better! JUST what I wanted.
