I'd like to tell you about my experience with Dr. Ransom and his staff. I'm a 60-year-old bald male and realized I really needed to have my neck done. I was planning on doing ThermiTight. Two different plastic surgeons recommended it and told me it would work. I went to see Dr. Ransom, he looked at me, and said no way I will do ThermiTight on you because it will not work on your neck you have to much skin.
This is where I'm thankful for my intuition. I had a feeling that ThermalTight wouldn't work because there was so much skin. I questioned both of the surgeons and they both said no it will be fine. Thankfully, I knew to get another opinion. Also, I should add at this point that this is my fourth plastic surgery, I had my lids done nine years ago and I had gynecomastia which took two operations. Both of those surgeons were very good. So this is not my first rodeo.
The minute he told me I had too much skin I knew he was right. But I said what are we going to do, I have no hairline I'm bald. He said you're right this is difficult, but I have a way I can do it. Hiding the scars under your chin and zigzagging the other remaining sutures. He did exactly what he said. I have a goatee so some of it can be hidden, but most of it is not hidden. It's weeks after my surgery and people look at me and say you look great. I'm thinking, wait until I'm done with the scar removal machine I'm going to look fantastic.
Also, I needed my upper eyelids done again, but I questioned him, he looked at me and you said you're concerned, I'm going to over correct them because you had so much Botox. I said yes. He smiled and said no I won't. He was right. Let me tell you I needed my upper eyelids done because they were touching my eye lashes. But because of the amount of Botox in my forehead, we needed to do a very small amount of cutting. I needed a very small but accurate amount of cutting he did exactly that.
The anesthesiologist and the surgical suite and the staff are fantastic, I highly recommend having it done on the 26th floor.
What really made feel comfortable was working with Dr. Ransoms office Staff. Dee is the Heart and soul of that office. From the first time I met her I said oh my goodness this woman knows what she's doing, she's honest and she tells it like it is. She's compassionate and was always interested in how I felt. Because it's been nine years since I've had any plastic surgery I was nervous this time, mostly about the eyelids, not the neck. She reassured me and said don't worry I'll be with you the whole way. She went out of her way to help me. I felt like I was the only customer they had. Although every time I went to that office there was always people waiting, very busy office. Jillian is at the front desk and is absolutely delightful to deal with. She went out of her way to respond to my emails and help me through the process too.
It's rare to find a plastic surgery office where everyone does a great job and everyone is honest, kind, considerate and knowledgeable. I know this as I've been to many plastic surgeons over the years and this is a unique office with an exceptional doctor.
