You look great!!! Congratulations on your stunning results!!! Thanks for sharing :)
You are absolutely gorgeous! I’ve never seen such beautiful skin before. And your eyes look drastically beautiful. I have similar eyes as you in before picture. I hope I get similar results as yours.

Thank you for posting these!  I think you look great for being a few weeks post-op.

You look 20 years younger! Awesome job!!
You are beautiful! I am scheduled for my surgery to remove my old ugly bags on March 12, I am 55 years old, I can't wait. I love hearing stories like yours. Actually, I thought you were quite beautiful even before surgery, now you are more beautiful. I am so happy you are happy with the results. I especially can relate about going to the Shisedo counter to get under eye creams at a young age, creams that will make those bags dissappear, but it NEVER worked. I have spent more money on stupid eye creams that will make them "disappear", NEVER WORKED! and I knew it. I hope my story will end up like yours.
ORIGINAL POST

I can remember being 19 and going to the Shisedo...

I can remember being 19 and going to the Shisedo counter to buy under eye cream for bags. My eyes were always deep set, and slightly hooded, and my under eyes were extremely sensitive and would inflame, retain water on a dime, and they were always puffier than I liked. Being reasonably young (37), I decided to get an upper and lower blepharoplasty because I was sick of my eyes disappearing on me. It was bad enough that they were deep set, which means you can hood easier, but I had puffiness and discoloration, but my eyes... how can I say this? They were disappearing. From the puffiness underneath, and the face that my eyelids disappeared, I really wanted to seek out someone who could open my eyes.

I am so glad I went to Dr. Ransom because he did a beautiful job opening up my eyes. My upper canthus is more rounded on top, and it's beyond me how he managed to change the shape of my eye -- but I love it.

I have to say the whole interaction with Dr. Ransom and his office was very comfortable, reassuring and attentive. Dr. Ransom's patient coordinator, Dee Roby, was phenomenal and checked in on me, was super informative, and overall just went way above and beyond! (I could write a whole review just on her before and after care of me, but since this is a doctor-centric review, I'll stay on task!) Just know that if you interface with Dr. Ransom's office, you will know what I mean when I say Dee is an exceptional. I've dealt with my share of patient coordinators and trust me, she delivers very high quality of service that is synonymous with Dr. Ransom's practice.

Dr. Ransom was never pushy, and he personally stands by his work -- these were things I had heard about him and now I can personally attest to his integrity. He will take time to explain what intends to do to your face, why he is doing it, and how he will do it. HE DELIVERS NATURAL RESULTS; IT WON'T BE OBVIOUS YOU HAD ANY WORK DONE! What impressed me during my pre-op, was when I was articulating to Dr. Ransom how I wanted my eyes opened up more, and I said "I don't have any pictures to bring you," and at that he said something akin to the fact that he discourages pictures of what someone else looks like, he said he prefers to just use my face as our own canvas and that my natural features will dictate the plan of action in the surgery room. He kept me looking like me, and accomplished an awesome correction.

I agree with the other reviewer who said that Dr. Ransom is an artist. He is an exceptionally considerate plastic surgeon, someone who is very careful, methodical, and meticulous. I am very prone to bruising but I can say I suffered little pain post-op and could tell that Dr. Ransom was gentle with me, even when I was unconscious.

In time, when I age Dr. Ransom will do my facelift. I remember just before surgery I was so nervous, and I probably had a look of anxiousness on my face as I told the surgery center nurse how nervous I was. She works for multiple surgeons in the building, and told me she refers all her friends (who want face work) to Dr. Ransom, and I believed her was because I was technically already there, already "sold" as it were, and a plain "you're going to be great" would have been sufficient but she was very sincere, and I could tell from instinct that she wasn't pitching me.

If you are considering having this done, you would be wise to choose Dr. Ransom. I'm very happy that I did. And I will continue to see him whenever I feel like I want the natural beauty of my face to shine through.
