Best Decision I've Ever Made
WORTH IT
Im 4 days post-op and although I've been dealing with soreness and lots of swelling, getting a breast reduction was the best decision I ever made. Immediately after surgery when I was in recovery, my chest felt lighter and my back felt better. It was almost a surreal feeling to have because I didn't think I'd notice that quickly. The surgeon took 1.5lbs off each breast. I guess that's why I noticed the difference so quickly! Recovery has been slow and steady. The swelling has gone down quite a bit since surgery, which is great. I went from a HH to roughly a D cup size. My surgeon said I may even shrink another 1/2 cup size once all the swelling goes down, which I'm happy about because I was looking forward to having a C cup. Overall, I'm extremely please with the fabulous job my surgeon has done and if your considering getting this procedure done, I'd highly recommend it!

My entire life I've had large breast. A little description of myself: I'm 5'4, 185lbs. with 36 HH breast. These things have been such a pain in the a**. I have my surgery scheduled tomorrow morning and I'm starting to get extremely nervous. I've read lots of reviews and tried to get an idea of how recovery will be, but I'm hoping everything goes smoothly. If any one has any suggestions on how to manage pain (and what their experience was the 24-48 hours post-op, it would be greatly appreciated! I'll be sure to post post-op pictures and give a more detailed description of my experience!

to be honest once you move as little as possible for the first few days it is a great help any lifting of the arms is a no no as you can burst the stitches and open the wounds, if you have to lift don't lift past your waist and drink loads of water try stay off the pain killers after the first day as you will get constipated and if you are not moving about much there is no real pain just an uncomfortable feeling, I hope all goes well and make sure the surgeon really knows the size you want to be that is the one regret I have not stressing how small I wanted to be
Thanks for you suggestions! I'm 4 days post-op and not moving much the last few days has really helped with the healing process!

This is the best thing you've done for yourself. I did it in 2007 and I'm still very happy with my choice. Recovery is quick and easy.
