My history: I was an obese teen with PCOS. I was over 100 lbs heavier and also had the characteristic brown skin on my neck, chest and thighs. Rough, thick, scales.
I lost 80 pounds in my late teens and another 40 as an adult. I was left with extra skin and, in my thighs, the discoloration persisted.
I’ve done a lot of inner work and I’ve become an athlete and accepted myself, but my thighs have always just made me sad. I also had a pronounced “FUPA”, post-weight loss. (A puffy/fatty pubic area.)
Dr. Fan in SF had done my tummy tuck years ago and I trusted him to do the somewhat trickier thigh lift. I asked to please avoid the verticals scar (knowing the results may be poor and/or the wound problematic) and hoped for the best.
I just took the 11 day post op photos and I am uncharacteristically emotional about it. I look like a normal woman. When I go to the beach with my kids, they won’t be embarrassed. My god, I can wear shorts this summer. (Not to mention that I’m single and dating and I suddenly don’t have a pound of fat converging at my crotch...)
This result exceeds any hope I had going in. I hoped to just come out “not quite as grotesque”. The brown skin - gone. The heaviness - gone. The shape of my legs...I’m in shock.
I’m not going to blur the photos because I’m not that modest and part of what I had done was my pubic area!

you look so amazing. Have you had any wound openings? I am getting a thigh lift in 9 days and am very scared.

Omg - I was so freaked out on multiple occasions. I have some closeups of wounds as they healed, and I swear it looked like you could poke my bone through some of them! I breathed much easier when the skin closed fully.

It’s an issue with a thigh lift. Wear your compression garments and be diligent. I hope it went well!

3 year post op, kind of soft porny photos :D

I came back here after years and saw the requests for pics. These were taken for a special person because I’m actually comfortable doing that now. You can clearly see the scars, but I still feel so happy with the results.

I have pcos and my legs look like your before right now after a tummy tuck. I would love to get this done. How much did this cost?

Nothing like a tummy tuck to highlight the adjacent areas, eh? ;)

I went to a top notch surgeon who charges well above the standard and I paid about 11k for this. I opted not to get put out (do not recommend unless you are sure you can handle that!) and that saved me some $$.

Thighs are very tricky. I was nervous I’d end up worse than before and that does happen. It was worth it for me to go to an artist!

Where are your incisions? Are they visible? and how long and difficult was your recovery time. You look amazing! I’m not really overweight…I just have saggy skin.

Do you feel like the lower part of your thigh and your knee area also benefited? It looks like your entire leg transformed, you look amazing! I just thought the groin only incision only focused on the inner thigh…and didn’t do much for the rest of the inner leg.
