I decided to pursue Lipo because 8months of strict diet and exercise didn't help my lower abdomen and flanks much. Since then, Im five days post-op from smart Lipo of abdomen and flanks. Swollen, achy, and itchy but in overall good health and recovering well. Once the swelling goes down the final results will be posted.

I do notice a huge difference, so once the swelling goes away I think the results will be great. However, do you have any visible scars left?

Thanks! My scars are turning into scabs right now but I'm very hopeful that they'll fade. My Dr. offers a complimentary scar treatment that's supposed to help with any discoloration. I think it also depends on the color of your skin to begin with whether the scars will be prominent or not.

I just got home from getting upper and lower abdomen and flanks done. I am so sore and stiff, the thought of getting of the couch is rather dreadful. Did you experience a rough first day? Also what did you eat the first few days.

Day one thru three is the worst haha it only gets better from there. I ate pretty normally except my portions were small because of the garment. For me, the pain was worse in the middle of the night. Hope this helps! Lemme know if you have more questions

12 days post

10 day post-op update

It's been about 10 days or so now and I'm feeling much better. The swelling and bruising has come down significantly although still there. There's only minor discomfort after a long day of walking around. The incisions have scabbed over and are healing nicely. Only concern is there's a prominent line on my right rib where she suctioned that I'll have to get checked out.

Hi you must be really happy with your results so far your looking great for being 12 days post op! How are you going wearing your CG? I found massaging really helpful for swelling. Thanks for sharing your journey so far :-)

Hey! I was just cleared to stop wearing the garment. I wore it for about 16 days. Still got a lot of swelling so a massage might be a good thing.
