1.5 years post op!
So it's been a year since I posted last! Just went to see Dr Pousti for my annual follow up and wanted to post another update. I looked back at my before photos and I've completely forgotten how far I've come since my surgery! It's absolutely amazing to see the transformation. Looking back it's almost like I'm looking at a different person! After my surgery I didn't want to stop working on "me". I've amped up my diet and exercise and the results show! But of course the start of it all was due to my favorite surgeon, Dr Pousti!
From flab to fab!! 3 months post op!
So yesterday was my three month post op appointment!! It went really good my scar is healin and there is minimal swelling left. I was getting picky for a while and lost sight of how much my body has changed in such a short time. When I was shown my "before" photos it almost brought me to tears! I can't believe how different I look i feel like a completely different person. i never once have regretted this procedure and it has been the best investment. I'm confident as ever and my self esteem has been boosted 200%! Dr Pousti is the greatest surgeon in San Diego hands down!
5 weeks post op!
So I'm 5 weeks and two days post op. Had my appointment with Dr Pousti and Heather. I need to just stop and brag to say that They are both so amazing! I love that my husband and I can talk to both of them like friends. We can crack jokes talk openly.. It's awesome to say the very least! So, things are looking GREAT. I don't have to use my walker anymore and my only dressing left is on a small open area. Dr Pousti thinks I have max two weeks and this wound will be healed and I will essentially be healed. I still have some swelling but that can take a while to go away. Going to keep wearing my spanx til the swelling goes down. Needless to say though I am ecstatic! Absolutely ecstatic! I'm standing straight for the most part but my core is definitely weak right now time to build some of that strength back up! It's so exciting that there is finally a light at the end of this what fees like a forever tunnel. Any advice I can give to someone considering this procedure.. It is an INVESTMENT, not just a phase of surgery and then recovery. It takes time, tears (both happy and sad), self discipline (staying hunched over using your walker... Following ALL of doctors rules) and a whooooole lot of patience! If you can do all of this... This procedure will be one of the best investments you can make I promise you! And it will be even better if it's by Dr Pousti! ;)

Dr Pousti is amazing. From the second you meet him and his staff, you're hooked! I looked around all over San Diego and my husband and I knew THIS was the surgeon for us. He's very honest, and will not let you do something he doesn't feel comfortable with or that it's not in your best interest.
