Droopy Bulbous Tip Reduction. San Diego, CA

Hello Realselfers,

Since my cast has been off the swelling came back. But not by much. I wanted to update you guys with a photo and give you an update on what Dr Brucker had recommended. He does not want me to wear glasses for at least six weeks and I also can not workout until after my next 6 wk follow up.

Not a big deal compared to my results. I wish I had been a little more detailed in my last few posts. I failed to mention that I had gotten a fat transfer to my entire face including my nose about 2 years ago. I was told that it would improve the droop of my tip. But instead it made it much more pronounced. I also wanted to mention what exactly was done to my nose.

It was open rhinoplasty so he lifted the entire nose up to thin the tip and shorten the columella. He also broke the bones in the bridge to make it appear more curved in. And lastly he did take in the nostrils. I asked for this to me done very minor. So that my nose would still match with my other strong features.

Dr. Brucker saved my confidence. Now I can smile without thinking about how it's making my nose droop. Thank you for changing my life.

The day has finally come! The unveiling of my new nose :)
I am 100% satisfied. It is exactly what I asked for. I wanted to still look like me just a bit more enhanced. Thankfully he he didn't take it to the extreme.
I was nervous that my patients at work would say something nasty or something embarrassing but no one really noticed. HOWEVER, I did catch a few people taking a second glance. They said my hair looked good and my make up looked different but the results look so natural that no one can pin point what I did.

Dr. Brucker truly listened to what I wanted & I couldn't be more thankful.
I will be sure to take more pictures when the swelling goes down more.

Today was great. I was finally able to get off all the nasty crust & unveil a little more of my new nose. Sleep went well last night and my breathing has improved. The black eyes are finally starting to go away. Most likely from the entire pack of arnica I took. I also used the Arnica gel to help with bruising since I have my first day back at work tomorrow.

Before I go into to work I am having my cast taken off! I will post new pics to show the side profile as soon as I get home. Thanks for all the positive support.
