Dr. Hilinski also has a very good "bedside manner" which is truly appreciated from a patient standpoint. Both prior to & after my surgery, I was able to directly e-mail him questions/concerns/etc., & got a quick & thorough response from him every single time. His office staff is efficient & easy to work with, & his medical staff (nurses, anesthesiologist, etc.) during the surgery were all absolutely great. Also, both Dr. Hilinski & his staff worked hard for me to get insurance approval to cover the surgery, including the doctor directly speaking with the insurance company & providing them with information necessary for approval.
With all of that said, I'm now 2 1/2 years post op, & I am so unbelievably happy with the work he did. The results he'd predicted/estimated in the pre-op appointments were very accurate to the results I now have. Since the initial surgery, he has met with me for regular post-ops & done injections to ensure the best possible outcome & avoid any issues with scar tissue. His patience & expertise are the reason my end results are so incredible.
I have both wanted & needed this surgery for over a decade, & I couldn't be happier with how this whole process has gone. It was definitely worth the wait in order to find a doctor like him who has done such a wonderful job.

One of the most important things to me when I first consulted with Dr. Hilinski is that he's board certified both as an ENT & as a plastic surgeon. This added level of training was important for the surgery I needed, but as much as I needed the surgery, I was also rather hesitant to get it, as I've heard horror stories over the years about people who'd received bad results from doctor's around the country. I really made a point to do my homework on Dr. Hilinski, & he definitely checked out...from the double board certifications to Harvard Med School, he's the real deal & a phenomenal surgeon.
