I had a bulbous tip that hooked down. Along with a prominent chin, it always made my profile appear witchy to me. The initial consult gave me a lot of information about what I could hope to achieve. I wanted a supported and refined tip without excessive narrowing that could look "pinched". Dr. Cohen understood and his artistry (he also is a painter) in his work showed that he did not do "cookie-cutter" noses and his other work did not have his patients looking "done." I am now three days post-op with bruising and inflammation. I will update as things progress.

The first picture is Day One and I was thinking "not so bad!" The second picture shows Day Three after the Bruise Fairy showed up! It didn't hurt more, but it looked really bad.

Week Two: I stayed down the first week. I was reminded not to bend over because a huge pressure would whoosh toward my face and hurt when I did. The outside splint was replaced with another type six days after surgery.

The splints are off! I love the result, but this is not the nose it will be a year from now after it heals. I was shown how to tape my nose at night and around the house, and how to gently stroke it (massage) four times a day to keep down swelling and help prevent scar tissue from forming under the skin. Most of the pain is gone, but bending forward still feels like a bad idea.
Oh yes, please do keep us updated. You are lovely and I can't wait to see if you love your results (all digits crossed for you). :)
