How you explained your month is what I always thought was wrong with mine. Trying to figure out how I should go about changing mine.

Is that the cost for the surgery? I ask because I have the same issue although I never sucked my thumb or anything when I was younger. I currently have braces and my orthodontist is hoping this correct the issue if not I'll be needing the surgery.

My insurance actually paid for my surgery i did have to pay for the geinoplasty which was 3500 and there was also cost of 2000 dollars that i paid to my dr office for a mapping of the surgery that wasn't covered by my insurance.

Oh okay, that's good to know. (If I should need the surgery, hopefully I don't. I see if my insurance cover some or all.) Thanks for replying and I hope you heal well and like your end results.

Interesting. I have a similar concern, as I am former thumb sucker and hate the shape of my mouth. I convinced myself that braces would fix the problem but I'm not so sure now.

Same, old thumb sucker myself too. I opted for a sliding genioplasty last year. Results were great for a few months, then my old mouth started to kick in again. I'm convinced I need to go the real thing now lol
