Nipple Reduction After Breastfeeding - He's Such an Artist - San Diego, CA
ORIGINAL POST
I breastfed 3 kids and my nipples looked tired....
WORTH IT$1,800
I breastfed 3 kids and my nipples looked tired. They pointed downward and looked too large on my small, AA-chest. For years I thought I needed implants to get my nipples back up from a saggy position but Dr Pousti fixed my saggy nipples with a nipple reduction. Such attention to detail. I'm much more confident in the bedroom and I don't have to adjust them in bras anymore.

Photos of after
Here are the after photos. Not perfectly symmetrical (I freaked out about that at first) but definitely an improvement. My left side is a little shorter than my right. If I could do it again I would, and I would recommend it to a friend if she were concerned or self-conscious about hers.

They look great. Did you retain sensation?

Yes I still have sensation and everything feels the same - actually feels better because I'm not preoccupied with the length/shape.

I just had nipple reduction surgery a month ago and when they’re not hard they’re decent but when they’re hard they stick out like crazy almost identical as before, I am told the swelling has to go down still a lot and everything has to settle, I am also anticipating a second surgery because ones bigger than the other.how long did it take for your swelling (as in the Areola puffiness that makes it look extra big still) to go down completely?

Hi, felt on your post searching for nipple reduction pictures and was wondering what is the technique your doctor used and if you have any sensation left?
My nipples and breast are exactly like your pre surgery; I am still breastfeeding a toddler and he is destroying my nipples now by sucking too hard. I always had longer nipples, but now it's even more long and saggy :( I can't wear anything braless otherwise you only see those huge and long pointy nipples. Surgery scares me but knowing it is an option makes me feel better.
Thank you in advance, hoping you read this!

Hi. I use the "sleeve" technique for most patients undergoing nipple reduction surgery. This procedure involves removing a segment of skin (circumferentially like a sleeve) at the base of each nipple, leading the core of the nipple intact. Doing so decreases the length of the nipple. To decrease the width of the nipple, a triangular segment of nipple skin can be removed at the nipple tip. I have found this procedure to be very patient pleasing; the vast majority of patients will retain sensation. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much! Will be looking for a doctor that can use this technique in Montreal.

Hi Vanessa, I still have full sensation in my nipples and highly recommend the procedure. Also I would recommend being willing to travel (I traveled for the procedure) to an expert because it's worth it. Dr. Pousti really is fantastic, a perfectionist, and worth the time to get there.
