WORTH IT
I have been over drawing my top lip since jr high. I saw a lip lift on a plastic surgery reality show about 10 yrs ago and have been wanting one since. After seeing so many great results on RS i finally decided to do it.
I arrived at the Dr office at 12:30 and was taken back shortly after. Dr Reavie did a nerve block and I felt absolutely nothing. When the numbing wore off I would say the throbbing pain was at about a 5. I took 2 advil and have been feeling fine since. My nose and nostrils look giant and I would say thats the worst part

My philtrum and nose were so swollen this morning but I have been going out and doing things looking like a Dr Suess character. I'm back at work tomorrow so hopefully swelling will be down. I havent taken anything except advil and arnica

Yes...! That infernal question most of us have, Ha!
I'm doing the same thing, just going to let a few months go by and see where I'm at. If my upper lip is any shorter, I think it might make my chin look excessively long and that wouldn't be good. Finding the balance is important.
What was the response of your co-workers or did they know you were having this done?

I think yours turned out great!!
I only told my boyfriend and bf that i was having this done. I went to work with my bandaid and just said i had something taken off my lip(which technically isnt a lie!) I just didn't want to have to explain to everyone .

My nose is still swollen but getting better. I have a very small bruise in the middle of my upper lip.
I am putting a bandaid on a going to work. I wish I would have thought this out more and taken today off! Oh well, story of my life

Omg it looks so good, yet very natural! Also I can't believe you're 45, I thought you were closer to my age (30). I'm jealous!
