I’ve been doing a lot of research on whether to have this done now or wait until later. After the hubs declined my request for a mommy makeover I decided it was the time. I’ve had my underarms lasered at a fancy place that cost $$ and it wasn’t too uncomfortable. Then I had microblading on my eyebrows and that was crazy painful. The point is I’ve had some experience with beauty procedures. I’ve birthed 2 children so I have a good amt of pain tolerance.
So I had my first session of the Brazilian laser. I was super nervous. The place I went to was different from where I did my underarms. That places had a machine that blasted cool air. This place used the light sheer where it suctioned up the skin then zapped it. It wasn’t painful and mildly discomforting. There were parts where I could feel the hair follicles being tugged. All in all a pretty pleasant experience. Maybe she went easy on the level idk. I bought a package of 3 so I have a good and of treatments left.
Final result. Oh I forgot I asked for ice. She numbed the area for a few seconds before going over it. So I thought I did a good job shaving and after it was all done including applying the hydrocortisone cream there was little redness and it was all bumps. The hair follicles had been pulled up in most areas and a few even curled up. I didn’t smell burning hair at this session, but I might when they turn up the intensity. I hope this review gives you a little insite on my experience and I’ll follow up in about 6 weeks or if something happens before then.
