IPL M22 for matted spider veins around feet and ankles

Years out--I never saw any improvement. On the contrary, one area grew darker and angrier. It's not an ideal solution, but honestly, my best results have been using cover up when I wear shorts or skirts. Unless this technology is either wildly improved or a lot less expensive, don't waste your money.

From the get-go, there was something a bit off about this procedure. That a nurse (and not a doctor) would be charging top dollar yet had no answers, was irksome. I also didn't like being charged $200 for 15 minutes, and then have 5 minutes going to jotting down stuff on a piece of paper, and dealing with the machine. What was the worst, though, was the excruciating level of pain with the first device. I was totally numb and still saw stars. (The second one was painless.) And I'll need up to 4-6 of these--are you kidding me?? With mixed results and a high probability these veins will return?? Ugh, I wish I'd done my homework...I think IPL for spider veins is probably a big waste of $$$ and I'll be the first to let you know if this new technology delivered anything at all after one half hour of torture.

Kim was very nice. I did not totally trust, however, that this procedure would be effective, nor that she answered any technical questions in depth. My general rule of thumb is to have an M.D. do the work, and I should not have rushed into it. Also, in hindsight, I rather have done two fifteen minute sessions weeks apart to focus on the areas that most bothered me, than a half hour in which I could not focus on those areas because they would be too irritated, and ended up wasting time and money on veins that I didn't care about.
