Hello Everyone, I too was duped into thinking...
Hello Everyone,
I too was duped into thinking laser was a magic eraser with zero consequences. I had my under eyes treated with the V Beam 2 yrs. ago for very minor capillaries. I thought, "Why not?" Why not?! Because they are basically melting your precious blood supply, damaging your cells to the point they commit suicide, killing every God given natural vehicle for nutrient & oxygen supply, that's why. I received crinkly, lax, hollowed out, under eyes that looked like they were starving & not receiving any nutrition. When I eat cooked carrots, salad, beans etc. I look in the mirror & I see my good food choices are reaching my skin. Not in this case. Month after month I only witnessed further damage & thumb prints under my eyes, a flattening of my cheeks, etc. I know beauty comes from the food, avoiding the sun, sleep & exercise. PERIOD. There is no magic cream that can do what the amazing body was designed to do...heal itself. What I do for the major depression & anxiety & disappointment in myself for the dumb decision I made, is I seek God first & his ways. He is still in the miracle business. My choice to get my mind right is Joel Osteen in the morning. He shows how the scripture can benefit my life & shows me the ways of God & his plan for me. I try to help at least 1 person everyday, be it a smile, a word of encouragement, a bag of goodies for a thrift store donation, a small money gift for a homeless person, whatever I can to do something good for someone else & not get consumed by this "event". I am way more than this "event" with much to offer. People don't see what you see, what you are so distressed by. They see your kindness, your smile, your love. What I do to physically heal: 1. No sunscreen. No chemicals. I wear a wide brimmed hat ALL THE TIME. Like it's my job. If you don't look goofy, you aren't wearing the right hat. Go outside with a mirror & make sure it covers you all the way, not just the top of your head. 2. Cut caffeine way down. Anxiety & depression gets ramped up to maximum levels with too much caffeine. I went back to mellow store bought coffee & it helped me greatly. 3. Eat well. Every bite you take is healing you. Here is a sample menu for me. Breakfast: 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ a smidge of butter, oatmeal, oj. Lunch: Handful Romaine lettuce, 3 small tomatoes, good portion English cucumber, 2 oz. turkey, smidge mayo. Snack: 2 mini Hershey bars - ( a girls gotta live). Dinner: 5 oz. Japanese yam (hyaluronic acid rich), 2 oz. chicken, cup broccoli, cup zucchini, small butter or olive oil, small garlic. I tried eating beans & avoiding animal protein, nothing changed. I think we need meat to build collagen. That is a sample of my daily menu. Here is the blood supply booster: WALKING. I walk 1 hr. every other day. That is 3 miles. I put on my earbuds and go for the gusto. This has brought new life to my skin. More than just diet. More than lots of sleep. More than hot baths to increase blood flow. This is the best thing to bring the life giving blood to every cell in the body. It kills anxiety & depression. Take your strolls in the neighborhood & enjoy the beautiful flowers, listen to what God is telling you to heal yourself. You can recover in time. Don't put anything chemical on your skin. It doesn't have the ability to heal just yet. I use Ivory soap, Suave lotion & my skin is coming back to life. There is power in the blood. In time you will recover. Don't fall for ANY LASERS, be it IPL, V Beam, whatever. The principle is the same. They are melting the precious blood supply vehicle, killing cells, damaging DNA. There is no instant in nature. Good things take time & patience. The best hope we have is in our blood.
God bless you! ;)
