I had the procedure done under local anesthetic and had no issues, and as a matter of fact appreciated that option, since I could also chat with the doctor, while he was doing the procedure. Dr. Edelson has a great bedside manner and I found the procedure quick at 1/2 hour per eye for both upper and lower. At the end of the procedure, it was easy. His staff put some cold packs on my eyes which felt great for about 30 minutes, then back home all in less than a few hours. The result is great! I can't believe that I waited as long as I did. I now have eyelids and no bags! I’d say the perfect amount of tightness, not too much and not too little.

It’s been almost 4 months now since Dr. Edelson did my upper and lower eyes. I am 100 percent satisfied, and love my result. In looking back, there was only minor discomfort for the first two days and an occasional tinge of pain here and there, which I now understand, are nerves reconnecting. These minor “irritations” are all very well worth the result. The locations of the incisions are barely visible (to me) and invisible to everyone else, as they fall right on normal skin creases around the eyes.
I love how my eyes feel now compared to before. My eyes feel much more awake and believe it or not, my vision is brighter. I wake up in the mornings and feel so much healthier now, not having bags under my eyes and that heavy feeling that comes with those bags. The surgery was perfect and even better than I had hoped.
If you are thinking of having your eyes done, I would highly recommend having Dr. Edelson do the work.
