Can't believe I am six weeks. The time flew. I am back to school an work full time now. I am in culinary school and decorate cakes so lots of on my feet. I have much less swelling and really have no complaints. I have tried to lay on my tummy a couple of times and that is kid of weird but I am getting there. My tummy is still really numb to the rich and incision still looks angry. At the end of the day I choose the very best surgeon (dr.pousti) and I am so glad that I did this. I would do it again ins heartbeat.

Five weeks
Feeling great, doing normal activity now and try to work in mild exercise. Today is my first day at home with my little ones, feeling good about it though. My DH was with my for almost five weeks, how nice he is. Before surgery I started at 167, post op I went down to 157 and after my vaca I am at 160. Hoping I can shed that fast. I have swelling around my scar and it is starting to feel a little raised, but I haven't started scar treatment yet so I am looking forward to that. My lipo is still so swollen on my back and bruised to the touch. I can't believe it's been 5 weeks I am so happy I did this for myself, best decision I every made!

You look great! How do you use the tummeric and bromelien?

I just take one supplement daily because that's what the bottle says. I know MissKitty take three turmeric a day, but I don't know what her dosage is. I really think that they both have helped because I never really had horrible bruising or swelling. I have swelling ups and down like everyone but nothing horrible. I know that it's still possible though so I just keep up on the supplements and I wear my CG 24/7. Thanks

So I can buy it in a health food or vitamin store? I have my surgery Sept 5 and want to be prepared!!

I take 500mg 2-3 times a day depending on how bad I eat (salt ) so far I'm ok. Its water soluble so all you don't absorb gets excreted in ur urine. But no need to waste money lol you can take it once a day and eat right. I got my turmeric at walmart for $6 for 90 pills. Walgreens $11 for 60 pills and they are identical!

I am going to Walmart to get more. I am going to try the 3x a day. I only took one because that's what the bottle said. There is no way to OD on tummeric right? Lol

No lol.you would just pee the excess out. For lack of better words. Lol. But I do it cause I eat so bad even when eating good lol

You look great. Would you believe its been 1 month since surgery. I wish my scar was as low as yours. I know my recovery will be longer because my PS has to be really aggressive esp with my lipo I can't wait to look as good as u do!
I know I can't believe it's been a month. I remember thinking that I would never feel normal again and although I am far from normal I feel so good. My scar is low today but it really depends on swelling cuz somedays it is higher for sure. Just give yours a little time it will drop. You look amazing too!
